I bought this shampoo/conditioner called RedKen All Soft Mega recently. However, it contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate that is known for removing color. However, it also says it's suitable for color treated hair. Do you know what I should do, should I use it or should I buy a sulfate free shampoo/Conditioner. I was curious if you guys know anything regarding it?

I know this is an old post but i conveniently worked in a redken salon for 2 years and have all the products engraved into my brain. All soft mega is for course hair, regular all soft is for normal textured hair. All redken and salon products generally are color safe, you really only have to strictly avoid sulfates if you have a keratin treatment. Sulfates aren’t great for color but at the same time they are what makes your hair clean.. they actually make the shampoo suds if you didn’t know what they were used for. If you want a good redken shampoo for color the best is probably the color extend magnetic as which is sulfate free :) and then you can use the all soft conditioner if you like it..
