From March 10 until March 17 (real-time), you can obtain the following Shamrock/St. Patrick's Day items.

The Shamrock Hat, Suit, Sunglasses and Shoes can be purchased at Able's.

The Shamrock Soda, Doorplate, and Rug can be purchased in the Nook Shopping app but only one item shows up at a time. Check daily for the other items.

The Shamrock Wand DIY Recipe is a random balloon drop. I got mine on the very first balloon I shot on March 10th.

It has to be the 10th in real time. TT-ing won't work until midnight in your timezone.

That's understandable because those were not really showcased when they announced the Mario items. It was later discovered on the official Japanese website then announced on Twitter afterwards. Same with the hinaningyo and pi day items.
