Every time I try to post a picture on here it ALWAYS gives me this message, and I have even tried to find the tiniest pictures and it will still say this. It only does this however when I use Chrome, because when I use Firefox it posts them no matter how large. So I am wondering if it's something to do with Chrome?:lemon:

don't use the tbt uploader, use an image hosting site instead. the picture quality is waaaayyy better too. you use the direct image link and place it between the [IMG][/IMG] codes.

That is exactly what I have been doing, and most of the time I just find an image and copy the url, it still doesn't work.

It happens with every single link I use, and I use the direct .jpg link like with all sites.

Here is the last one that I tried.

its working fine to me

it's not very large, so that's not the problem. I'm assuming that the problem is in your browser.

That's what I think too, but what browser are you using? Cause if this is a problem for everyone with chrome that sucks.

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but you have to completely bypass the 'Insert Image' button, even if you're doing 'From URL'. Just take the link and wrap tags around it. If you use imgur, it gives you the BB Code format in the sidebar with the rest of the links (not sure about other websites, I've only ever used imgur).

P.S.: I'm using desktop Safari.

The above poster has it right.

You want to completely avoid the insert image option. Imgur gives you multiple ways to post to different sites including IMG codes, which is what you want to use here. Photobucket does this as well.

Well actually, I use the "use basic uploader" link on the right of the box that comes up when it says Insert Image on both Chrome and Safari and they both work perfectly for me. It allows you to go beyond the restrictions.

Question, though: If you use the 'From URL' option in the 'Insert Image' button, does it still cost bells the same way uploading an image from your computer does?
