As much fun as I'm having with NH, a girl needs a bit of variety. I've dusted off some of my 3DS games and have been replaying them. Mainly, I've got Style Savvy and Fantasy Life going. Style Savvy deserves its own thread, since there are several games in the series.

I'd forgotten how charming Fantasy Life was. Right now, I'm bouncing from Life to Life, looking to get to Apprentice on all of them, so I have basic skills wherever I go. I've finished the game before, and gotten to Master in several Lives, but I've yet to attain God Status across the board or fulfill all the Other Requests, so that's my goal this time around.

Anyone else still playing this? I do have the DLC pack, so if anyone else does and wants to do multiplayer, that would be fun. It's another thing I haven't done with this game.

Ooh I've been thinking about replaying Fantasy Life again! I have so many hours on my first save. I got God Status on all the lives and even then when I was bored I would play just to hack and slash for fun 😂. If I go back to play it I might start from scratch again because I've forgotten the story. I've done multiplayer a few times and it was really fun, especially since some bosses and certain parts of the tower trials actually scared me to attempt alone (even with help from the Masters haha) and it was nice having a friend help out! I could definitely play multiplayer with you if you want to try it out - probably after the Fair ends when I have more time!

I love that game! I haven't played it in forever though. I pretty much God leveled every life already. It's to bad the "sequel" was put on mobile.. they basically killed the game :( Imagine a true sequel on the Switch. That's still something I really wish for.

But like you I also am playing a game on the side! I'm playing Spiritfarer and I've pretty much abandoned ACNH.. I still do my chores daily but the very bare minimum only hehe

Were they always good people online that didn't goofed around?

I always played with friends/people I knew so it was always a good experience for me!
Oh that's good!
I was asking because l never played online and l did lost my copy so l wanted to know how it was like with strangers.

I’m still playing Fantasy Life. For some reason my 3DS keeps deleting the save file. The repetitiveness doesn’t bother me too much, but the unskippable cutscenes become annoying fast.

Ahh I really enjoyed fantasy life, and I'd like to go back and finish it at some point. I have god on a couple of lives (Hunter being my main) and I was working towards getting god on the rest, as well as finishing all the trials :D
But yeah, I do wish the late-game grinding went easier, maybe if once you finish the game, you can buy an expensive item that greatly increases exp or something? (not the crappy badges ;-; )
But yeah, despite that I really enjoyed the games story, characters, art style and the music is so cute and unique :D

I love FL but I'm not sure I'd be able to start it from scratch, I remember it as kind of grindy/repetitive. A Switch sequel, on the other hand...

Honestly. Been waiting for them to announce a sequel for Switch. Idk why they’re abandoning the franchise. The game was well-received, as far as I know.

God I love this game so much and I remember great times playing with a group of friends. Would definitely replay this from scratch if the story didn’t drag on as much  such an amazing game though and would love a sequel on switch!!!

I wish I had a working DS to replay it, honestly! I had so much fun with it when it came out, it stratched the same itch as Stardew Valley for me.

Great game, pretty much plays like an MMORPG. Shame my cartridge broke and is no longer usable.

I am so late to this party it’s almost comical. I should still have my save file to play some more multiplayer even though this is almost a month later. 🙈 Going to try redownloading it now to see if I had the foresight/common sense to create a backup.

One of the best - and my favorite - 3DS games. The seaside/port world is beautiful, the dialogue and art style are charming, and you rarely run out of things to do. It’s an extremely grindy game, but I loved the grind to craft my own items and level my character.

My favourite jobs were the archer and cooking jobs when I played. Was always on the hunt for collecting ingredients. Often collected bounties and levelled up my combat jobs in multiplayer as we could only complete certain quests in our home worlds.
