It was a scam first the website said green smoke and then it says the website name is transmitter.best after I clicked it and it was such a good price I got super happy and said were getting a second island!!! But then when I checked out it didnt charge me the right amount it actually charged me less as if I only baught the 92 dollar console and not the nh game as well... at first there website told me there was an error with my confirmation code but then the error message went away and I never got a confirmation email... so then I had to call paypal cause I couldnt cancel the order which really bothers me about paypal how they never let me cancel anything.. theres another website just like it called cheapnintendostore and then there url also completely changes once clicked too.. on walmart its 538$$$ .. seems to be available? But that price seems high? I heard it was supposed to be 300$$ I thought I saw some from walmart earlier for that much but now idk...Where did you find this switch? Personally every reputable place I’ve seen has said that the switches have all been sold out
Refurbished consoles are good right?!Oof be careful who you give your information out to! Often stuff like that is way too good to be true, so I wouldn't bother with it. Did they actually wind up charging you?
The base console price is $300, yes. The one you saw on walmart.com was likely from a third-party seller, as they offer a marketplace for other websites to sell their stuff on. I'd recommend shopping at major retailers like Walmart, Target, GameStop (or your country's equivalent), Best Buy, etc. Unfortunately right now I don't think you're going to get an amazing bargain on a Switch due to the shortage, but it does look like GameStop has refurbished consoles that are slightly discounted from the $300 price.
Some people have their complaints about the quality of GameStop's refurbished consoles, but generally I'd say yes. It's really up to you, though. I know some people who refuse to buy (at least currently in production) used consoles because they feel like they can't trust them to be in good shape.Refurbished consoles are good right?!

While I've no experience with secondhand Nintendo consoles, I bought a refurbished PS Vita a year and a half ago and it's still working fine.Refurbished consoles are good right?!
The general rule of thumb I go by is if it's too good to be true, it usually is. People aren't stupid. They have probably seen the same listing but bailed because it's sketch.
Hopefully it turns out just fine though! I bought an R4 once off a random site because it was $20 cheaper than the ones on Ebay. It never came. I emailed them telling them I didn't receive it and they apologized, saying they'll send another. I'm thinking, yeah right. A month later, the R4 came. Not sure if it was the original or the new one they sent but they actually sent it. I couldn't believe it. I assumed I had gotten scammed for sure. Definitely not worth the stress. I now will pay extra to avoid situations like that.
