Alright guys my first read and it's day 3 (literally i'm sorry help also that took me long to write it out)

I'm pretty frustrated that I can't see most of Antonio's interactions with the rest of us because I wasn't active when those posts were deleted. I'll just be going off of everyone's posts alone and see how I feel about the situation so far. My other big problem I've had while playing is that a lot of us have been basing our reads on previous games that you've played/spectated, so it's hard to agree/disagree because I haven't played too many games and I'm not a fan of reading over thick threads with long posts. I want to try to base my opinions this game mostly on the content of this game.

Shellbell: I'm definetely least suspicous of you because all posts have been very townie. I've noticed you've questioned Ghost2008 a lot and he's a clear suspicion of yours, so that leads me to believe that Ghost/Shell = opposite alignments (?). You're way more town in this situation. I'm wondering- and you've probably already explained this but I'm just dumb enough to have ignored it- but why the no elim d1? That's probably my only issue with your posts so far.

Damniel: Honestly? I dunno how to feel about you. You said you thought Antonio was town so bonus points for that, and I haven't noticed anything super suspicious. I feel like there has been a lot of self explaining to avoid suspicion. However, you still have had tons of posts that seem pretty town-solvy to me.
A question for you: Please correct me if I'm wrong, but earlier you noted this:

The weird thing with volt, is that he seems to normally have long absences, then a lot of activity the latter part of the day (as in -the 48 hour day). I did go back and skim a game he was town in (i think it was the ace/sheep game, i dunno, I've looked at several, lol), and a long absence wasn't atypical. But it isn't helpful, and is so hard to read for.

As my townreads can't all be right, and my (I though logical) sus read/ poe turned out wrong, I'm gonna go over my old reads and look for how I've got it wrong. Also would like to hear Tessa's perspective on things before I even attempt a read on that slot.

I might be reading it wrong, but it sorta felt like you were basing part of your opinion of Volt based off his activity but then you wanted to hear my opinon before basing me off of my game activity? I'm wondering why you changed your mind so quickly on that?

also I said dan seemed wolfy but it's just vibes. I genuinely can't tell for the life of me when dan is wolf. he's rly hard to read so I just go with intuition. So I'll have him as town and see how the game progresses
No opinions on tessa so far. With lost of a town, a cleared town, me being mostly sure on t!shellbell and no w!dan in sight, I guess ghost has quite the chance to flip wolf here. I also think he could be bussed rn, though, so I'm having a hard time to worldbuild here.
I think that ghost/betty could be partners but I need to iso to remember how betsy reads evolved. Dan/ghost feels rly awkward as partners as ghost have been sussing dan for little to no reason so far. Ghost could be distancing but I don't think it's something that he would pull off
In the case ghost flips town, I think b100 could be right that potter/tessa are mafia just by PoE honestly

I'm not a fan of the "vibes" reads I see in games as many may know. Besides that, most of the posts haven't been very helpful. (excluding the GET YOUR VOTE OFF GEONI- points for that.)

I feel like (and I know I said I wouldn't base my opinons off of past games but yk what who cares) last game, your first one, you were very avoiding questions. I haven't seen much of a difference. I noticed you have been giving more of a read on the people in this game than last time so I'm grateful for the effort

This post I dislike, not because it was sussing me, but because you had just about no content from me and you immediately switched your suspicions from PotterCrossing to me even though we both had little to no content. You also switched a lot in between your opinions of all the townsfolk. (ah yes i have a sophisticated vocabulary with the word townsfolk- tbh i just really wanted to say it that word feels fancy) I would love to hear a read from you where you can tag or quote posts that back up your opinions of all of us townsfolk.

Good reads: volt, volt is acting really townie but might be mafia if so is a very good faker and if should be played with again I will re read this game. B100ming for sure our friendly neighbor for sending a message to Betsy.
Shell bell gives reasonable info and seems nice towards others and does amazing when taking notes about people.
Mixed reads: Antonio seems kinda mafia and has been really hostile towards others but then again that could just be them.
Tessa according to shell bell is using the same excuses as last time (so I have my eye on you Tessa). Betsy seems fine does normal town stuff such as : takes notes, points suspicion, the usual .

@Ghost2008 what's your reasons for thinking Volt is acting town-like? I really wanna see posts or things you noticed in particular about him that make him seem town.
Ghost having a good read on Volt with not a lot of evidence feels like a Volt/Ghost combo is possible.

Honestly I think Ghost/any experienced player combo would also be a likely combination, with an experienced player leading the game here.

@BetsySundrop how many games have you played/spectated? I'm curious to know.

anyway, for now my biggest sus is on @Ghost2008 . (i'm not voting yet because i want to have actual discussion this game before making decisions on solid ISO'ing and reading through the thread.)
It's 9:25pm around here so I'll probably be active for like 30 minutes and then I want to spend some time with a family-friend we have over. I'll be active tomorrow throughout the day (yay for saturday!!)

explained here. my most sus person at that point was volt due to activity, then disappearance. but volt came and gave good and reasonable responses so i didn't have much of a lead on anything anymore. had to leave for thanksgiving and missed everything -_-

you didn't miss a lot, basically antonio was (i think) townreading me, damniel, b100ming. null on volt and i think sussing betsy and ghost. (can't remember if he ever mentioned pottercrossing) it's best you don't know the deleted posts tbh, it was mostly just really like, intense stuff directed at betsy, and not all that much uh... game relevance (at least i don't think so, it was deleted pretty quick) ._.

I don't use activity level as indicator of alignment unless its tied to something else.
For the tessa/potter slot, I had no info on it- zero. But now that you're the rep, I figured it would finnaly be an active slot. It didn't feel like a good idea to try to determine it before even hearing from you. Because the only way to figure an empty slot would be whether I see teamwork, or lack of teamwork, which is really difficult for me

For the volt activity, the reason I tied that to AI in the beginning was because of the timing of the inactivity, along with how long the inactive period was. But then he came back. A couple things in volts favor for me- the eod d1, and the game I skimmed when he was town- where he also had long inactive, but then strong activity when back (kind of reminds me of how bianca played).

For your other question- this is my 3rd game. I played the cop 9er game (thunderdome) and the one before that.

I'll be away from phone until later afternoon/evening (working outside, yay!).

Hoping to come back to something from ghost. A long inactivity at this particular point would have me worried. It's been my feeling that ghost isn't wolfy this game, because when he was last game, it was really (really) obvious. As b100ming said, he danced his way to the guillotine. He did end up in my poe, though, so if he's town, he needs to come on and defend himself/ give something. My original poe had antonio, potter, ghost- as antonio turned out spectacularly town, I could still have gotten it somewhat right, but right now, I'm not feeling confident about it, lol.

betsy i’m still a little doubtful of but it’s not a full on sus. just a tiny voice on the back of my head going “maayybeee?” probably nothing, but i’ll keep vigilance just in case.

As for betsy I can also understand being confused still while being town. I've made some crazy moves as a town member (aka letting geoni win smh) so I feel like most likely the betsy/antonio interaction was a stressed town and a feeling attacked betsy. The geoni comment wasn't the only thing, it's just what stood out the most to me as a post that would most likely be town and be hard to fake in that timeframe. I didn't even keep up, I don't think maf could strategize that fast.
