i just hope that any new members reading this thread won't be intimidated from the posting on the forums out of fear of being judged and by how long they have been a member

probably the best point since the original point.

sadly, this could happen, but the fear of posting because this thread says these people exist shouldn't stop people from posting.

if you're reading this, you should be more inclined to feel "safe" about your posts.. but considering most people aren't scared to post, this thread could do the exact opposite for those people, sadly.

but eh. good point, can't please everyone, i guess.
