Result of Only Starting with Two Villagers

When I FINALLY landed on the island I wanted, that had all that I wanted, I started with Reneigh and Antonio. In previous games, I never cared much for Antonio. I didn't dislike him, but also never really talked to him if he lived in my town.

Having only two villagers on the island meant interacting with him more, and over time, I've come to absolutely love him.

Has anyone else has an experience either similar or drastically different to this?

i started with mira and kody. i never really liked mira and i liked cubs so kody was alright. over time ive come to love kody and i think i may keep him because of that. one of my sisters also really likes him, which is also influencing my choice.

i started with kid cat and tammy and as a result i’ve come to really like kid cat - i’ve decided to even keep him as my jock instead of looking for bam later aha. i’m not planning on keeping tammy permanently but this whole experience has made me like her a bit more, too :3

Yes actually! I never really took notice to Kody (the blue bearcub) but now I'm starting to love him. It feels like a friendship you're developing with someone who's took the chance at a deserted island with you.

I initially wanted a crocodile jock villager but now I'm not so sure lol.
