【Roleplay】 "Can't Take It.."

January 1st 2015Yep. Starting from the start of this year. c:
WEATHER: Raining
SEASON: Winter

The new year had started off to a wet start, rain was heavily pouring, a new storm approaching the city of Tokyo, raining down as students entered school. Most students were neurotypical with nothing wrong with them, no depression, no anxiety, nothing. But if one troubled student would fall asleep, they'd slip into the world that begged to let them stay..

DREAM: Yamash?ta Shinichi
Yama****a 001.jpg
Yama****a's dream looks like it's from the game of Persona 4's TV World, meaning Yamash?ta must be an Otaku, as well as a gamer. The world is full of fog and looks exactly like Tokyo, just covered in thick fog that makes it hard to go through. Yamash?ta is the master in this dream, but due to anxiety, anything could turn wrong and dangerous. The world is a ruined Tokyo, a place where everyone could live in their fears if they entered their own house. Everyone's house has the owner of the house's fear.

BlueSkittleWolf's Action
Yamsh?ta sat in class, bored out of his mind. He had always been a high achiever, and ended up in one of the high achieving schools. Despite his family being abusive towards him because he wasn't human, he usually seemed cold to most people. He sighed, listening for the last bell of the day, which finally rang and let him leave to go home. He was tired and was just going to go home and sleep. Little did he know, what was to befall him. He entered his house, gaining a 'How was school?' from his foster-family, which he grunted, and went to his room, lying down and quickly falling into his own slumber. Upon waking up in his dream, he went into a coma-like state as he slept, which would mean he wouldn't be able to leave the dream easily, despite it just being sleep. He looked around at the fog, scratching his head. It was definitely Tokyo, but it felt weird to him - Ominous, at that.

//I won't write this much later, probably. But, if you want, I can try..

OOC:// Ooh, my turn, my turn.~

Kiyoko stared up at the ceiling in silence, watching as the eight-legged monster made its way back towards the web the female had been watching for weeks. It never emerged long enough for her to crush it, and now, even while it was free to kill, Kiyoko cowered from the bug, sneering in disgust. "Just move somewhere else, you're not welcome here." She snorted, combing her fingers through her white locks before turning to sit upon her bed. With a sigh, she buried her head in her hands, listening to her newly stolen wrist watch tick time away. Everything in the home was silent, with the occasional eerie creaking of pipes that made it hard to rest, but Kiyoko knew that if she waited long enough, if she grew sleepy enough, she would fall asleep. For now, she thought, I'll just lay down..
With that, her mind went blank, and she shut her eyes for just long enough to be coaxed into sleep, before opening them again, as if awakening, but she was in a land that was unfamiliar to her.

Yama****a scowered around the land he was in, pinching himself every now and then. He called out, sounding strained as he spoke; "H..He..Hello?" He wasn't usually scared of being alone, but something felt so wrong about this world, scaring the young male as he kept walking. As he walked, his legs felt like they'd give way - He was frightened, like hell he'd say it, but he knew he had to find someone, whoever it was or whatever it was, might be able to help him feel wanted. He weakly ran as a light glistened beneath the fog, showing his house numbers. "D-Daaad?" He called out. Despite him not liking his foster family, this thing made him feel lonely. He stopped outside the doorway, opening the gates but quickly being grabbed and held capitive by some hands. The hands were ghost-like, and made him scream as they were cold and stressed him to no extent. He attempted to step away, only thing was that the hands held tighter, gripping his slender, pale legs. He fought his own tears, examining the arms. If someone, or something hit the ends of the arms, he could get through, but he couldn't right now - He wasn't fast enough as he started trembling. He screamed for help, looking into the window, seeing himself inside, being held down and beaten. His mouth dropped as he watched. That wasn't how anything happened at home. The odd thing was, the kid was crying and screaming, but couldn't be heard - He never screamed and cried, he'd take it in silently, as if it didn't effect him.

With an almost over the top battle cry, Kiyoko brought her over-sized Disneyland lollipop down upon the arms that held the boy captive, hoping to free him from the grip. This has gotta be a dream, I must be the hero, she smirked, and if she succeeded, she'd pull the candy back to her mouth as she examined the male. He seemed pretty normal to her, the first humanoid in her dreams that wasn't horribly deformed or hideous looking. It was a miracle. She remained quiet, her pale, yellow gaze scanning over his body a couple times before focusing on his face. It was then that she realized he was in pain, but, it had to have been from what was shackling him, holding him back. Could it have been that painful?
She nervously rubbed her wrists as she imagined what sort of pain could have made his face look like that.
"Uh.. are you.. okay?"

He took in a few deep breaths. Every house held someone's fear, from what it looked like. His was being held captive - It wasn't actually a fear, he just heavily disliked it. "Thank you." He spoke coldly to the female, not putting on a kind face. He muttered something before rubbing his legs, shaking the feeling of those cold, ghostly hands. "What's your name? I'm Yama.. Yamash?ta Shinichi." His breathing was heavy, as if getting heavily anxious, which was the case. He wanted to cling to the other living thing - The female, but that would look weird. He clenched his fists in anger, stepping out of the yard and back onto the pavement.

The female frowned, hoping for more of a celebration once she had saved the day. She was the hero, after all, shouldn't he have swooned for her and they would have a huge party afterwards where everyone chanted her name? This wasn't right.
"Kiyoko Kimura. You live here?"
She looked at the home in silence, before quickly returning her gaze to him and following. After a few moments of silence, her eyes would widen with surprise as she realized she lived around this area as well. Could it be that she knew this boy?
Idly, the female looked down at her hands, wondering how special she was in her dream. Each finger wiggled separately as she watched, her head curiously tilting aside.

He looked around then rubbed the back of his neck, calming down slightly. The air seemed to trigger him to be anxious and stressed."Ki.. Yo.. Ko.." He tilted his head and spoke. He looked creepy as he spoke. Honestly, he was trying to examine the situation. "Where are we..?" He questioned out loud. He tapped his chin in thought. It was made obvious he was smart as he tried examining the situation, quietly speaking sentences, trying to figure it out. "It has to be a dream.. But are you real?" He raised his hands, pushing them onto the female's shoulders and pushing her back in a harsh motion.

"Whoa, excuse you."
Kiyoko stumbled backwards, barely catching her balance at the final moments before she would have fallen, had she been clumsier. A frown formed on her lips before she approached him again, her hands resting on her hips impatiently.
"I'm real. No need to be rough."
She stared coldly into his eyes, before looking around again. How strange that the boy in her dream knew it was a dream. That's not something you hear every night, she paused, before turning back to him.
"So does this mean I'm not the hero, and you're not the boy who falls for me? Boo."
That's when things suddenly got uncomfortable. If this wasn't true, then this couldn't be her own dream. But what kind of dream was it, then?

"This world seems to be made of someone's nightmare - The creatures in it are made in particular to scare that person. But this dream is made to revolve around Tokyo, a'ight? So there'd be a goal within it. Whoever it is has a goal in life, that is probably close to the goal in the dream." He spoke, examing the situation. He sighed. "So we're both real, so it'd mean it's like an MMO.." He spoke quietly, tapping his chin again. "Now. The dream would have a goal and there must be things defending in each dream.. Something protecting the objective, like guardians sort of. This dream is based off Persona.." He muttered something about liking persona after then spoke aloud again. "So, it'd have a dark side of the Owner of the dream if it follows the story, yes? So that would mean if we find them, we'd find out who's dream it is, right?" He seemed to have done some thinking on the way here, making him seem like he thought a lot.

"But.. wouldn't that involve fighting?"
She frowned, quickly crossing her arms in defiance and shaking her head.
"Uh-uh, I didn't sign up for this. I could never possibly fight."
The female's gaze weakened slightly in fear before she looked away, not trusting enough yet of the boy to show him that she was afraid. She was confident, that's all he needed to know. Glancing down at her watch, she signed heavily, realizing it wasn't ticking, so it was either broken or he was right.
"Do you have a plan, then?"

"Well. Judging by it being Tokyo, hotels would be free to sleep in. Possibly sleeping here will transport them to the real world." He spoke, watching the female. The fog thickened around people, attempting to trap them there. It wouldn't work, but it was an attempt. He sighed, grabbing the female's left wrist, pulling her along. He walked over to the closest hotel. "Are you from Tokyo, Ki..yo..ko?"

With a little hmph, she followed behind him, keeping up with his pace, though the environment kept her distracted. She watched him quietly, her one good eye narrowing, before she gave in and responded.
"Kiyoko is not that hard to say, I'll have you know. But if you must be so awkward about it, you can call me Kiyo. But I don't like it. And yes, I am. I'm actually from around this area, oddly enough. Do you think this is global?"
She shook her head, grabbing his arm with her other hand to make sure she didn't get released in a place such as this.

He coughed - The thick fog was starting to affect him. "Yeah.. I'm from around here. Maybe, maybe we should meet in the real world. Maybe we already met.. I mean, I was quite popular in the real world - I just didn't like it.." He shook his head, everything catching up with him. He always looked so cold all the time, but his incubus side made him popular. He rubbed the back of his neck, worried from everything. He began trembling as he reached the hotel. He entered - Everything seemed normal, but with a lack of people. No one but them was around, as if there wasn't any. "Go to a room. You can sleep there." He ordered coldly, walking to the desk ajd searching the desk.
//I should be heading off - I need my rest, I think.

Kiyoko stopped, quietly facing him as he looked through the belongings of whoever had been at that desk. Her gaze softened a bit, and she shook her head.
"I didn't know you in the real world, but you're right, maybe we should meet."
She stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder gently before smiling at him.
"I'll head to a room now, but.. please come as soon as you can. I don't want to be alone in a place like this for too long. I don't like it one bit."
She turned on her heels to skip away, shaking the knobs of the various locked rooms until she found an unlocked one, stepping inside and leaving the door a crack open for him.

OOC:// I feel you.. I'm heading off as well.~

He searched the desk, pulling out blank papers and pushing them back down before running off after her. His own abilities would burst through his normal human exterior soon if he wasn't careful. His mind was racing in this world. "Heh, this has two beds. Should be okay." He sat on one of them, lying down. He sheepishly smiled, enjoying the feeling of the bed. "I.. don't think I'll sleep well, Ki..yo.." He seemed to sound creepy when pronouncing names, ending up as saying things in a strung out way. "Ki..yo.. The fog is so thick in here.." He coughed, closing his eyes. Despite him saying he wouldn't sleep, he was tired from walking and was worn out, so he easily drifted off, landing him back in the real world. His eyez wearily opened as he sat up and checked the time. "Oh.. It's this late.. I don't want to sleep again, I'll just.. go for a walk.." He slipped out of bed, heading down the stairs, careful not to wake anyone, heading out of the door. He ran for the gate and ran out, walking into the closest park. If he could map out points in this world, he thought they could work in the dream world. He breathed in the fresh, cold night air, loving the feel of the night air.

Kiyoko gazed out the window, her palms resting against the glass as she heard him relax in the bed, though his breathing seemed hoarse. Someone's out there who's afraid of all this, someone's out there who can make it all stop, she thought, watching the white of the fog swallow up any distinct landmarks. She turned back towards the resting male, pursing her lips thoughtfully before she removed the thin cloth of her scarf to place it gently over his mouth. She knew fog was harmless, but she hoped the ventilation would ease his breathing and he would sleep better.
Afterwards, she laid in her own bed, seeing how easily he fell asleep, and closed her eyes. After counting sheep for what seemed like hours, Kiyoko jumped awake in the darkness of her room, screaming and flailing about as she felt the tingling of what she imagined to be the familiar spider on her arm.

//Jump in by entering the hotel, I assume..

The young male examined his surroundings, falling his journey short and heading home in the cold, dark night. Despite being popular, he was a cold person at first glance but would warm up to people and the cold exterior would melt. Upon getting home, his step-mum stood there, glaring angrily at him. When he thought his step-dad would be called, he was only sent to his room to sleep. He laid down, quickly drifting off. The cold air wore him out, so he could easily sleep. His eyes shot open, making him stare at the ceiling. "Oof.." He muttered, nuzzling inti the scarf. He assumed it was the female's, but it was warm, so he snuggled into it with a small smile. He slipped off the bed, stumbling over to the window and sitting in front of it. He watched the world outside. Maybe, if it was like an MMO, there would be a gamemaster, making it seem like someone else was here, they couldn't be alone.

I stood outside in the cool misty air, right next to what looked like a small hotel. Seeing movement behind a window I looked up.
