Daemon frowned. "Forgive him.. Damien's been having a hard time recently."
He held Ahri tightly, flying them through the rain back to the village.
"I missed you so much, Ahri. Please don't worry about being a burden." Daemon sighed, wanting to kiss Ahri on the forehead but being unable to whilst carrying her.
He planned to tell Ahri everything that happened with Janaff as soon as they were home.
As the weather got warmer, she smiled as they returned to the village, seeing it lit up in the distance.
"I was so miserable without you.. but when we get home I can make you another sandwich like you ate last time, if you thought it tasted nice." She said with a smile, kissing him on the cheek.

"I'm sorry. I would have came to find you earlier, but....." Daemon trailed off as they entered the village.
He smiled at Ahri as she kissed his cheek, "I'd love that, actually. Are you hungry?" he asked, the rain making the odd part of his hair that stuck up appear drooping slightly.
Ahri smiled and she leaped down from his arms as they arrived at the village in front of their house.
"Wow, you know how miserable and boring it was up there without you?" She said, opening the door as she was eager to get back to their routine.
"I didn't know what to do, I went insane practically." Ahri said, walking into the kitchen to prepare him the same meal she had made him, and also one for herself.
"Let's go, I made us both one. But yeah, I haven't eaten in like.. 2 days." She said, her ears twitched.

Daemon laughed. "Well, I'm happy you're back then, to save you from that horrible boredom."
He felt empty-stomached himself, from his earlier activities.
Daemon looked around, then called out. "Damien, We're home!" wanting to let his brother know that he had came back safely.
He decided he would tell Ahri about Janaff when they were both ready, eating their sandwiches.
"Alright, let's. I have something to tell you." he murmured.
Damien sighed in relief, but he let them get back to their reunion.
"Thank you for letting me know, I can sleep in peace now. Don't have too much fun now, you two." He said as a joke and then ran off to his room to go to bed.
AHRI:
Ahri couldn't help but blush as she ate her sandwich, it was nice to see them get along. But, when he said that he had something to tell her she snapped to attention, looking at him endearingly. She didn't think negatively because why else would he come to rescue her from the snow and cold.
"I'm listening, darling." She said with an eager face. She was not expecting what he was going to say.

Daemon did a joking growl at his brother's comment. It felt nice to talk to Damien regularly again.
He then turned to Ahri, his heart sinking at her eager expression. "Janaff came, while you were gone. He came here with a mask on his face, saying he wouldn't allow anyone to steal someone dear to him, and that he would take them back. He attacked me with a sword, stating that he loved you as much as I did." Daemon paused to take a bite of his sandwich, his hunger getting the best of him, before continuing on. "He ended up stopping and leaving, though. I didn't quite understand it. He said he hated me and that he knew I hated him back." Daemon put a hand on his shoulder, knowing that underneath his shirt was his wounds.
Ahri practically gasped at this information, Janaff? Why would he do such a thing? She thought to herself, looking up at him.
"I doubt anybody could love me as much as you, Daemon. But, did he hurt you?" She asked, noticing the way he placed his hand on top of his shoulder. After she finished her sandwich, she scooted next to him and kissed the area where his wound was and then looked up at him, her 9 tails wagging slightly, but then they fell down in one big clump and hung off the side of the bed as to make room on the bed.
"It's just not like him, what the hell? But it was shady enough.. he kissed me and when I reacted negatively by abandoning the laguz to walk the plains, before I saw you again, he apparently was outraged. He must not have taken the rejection well, but why would he just.. kiss me like that?"

Daemon looked at her as she kissed his wound spot, Ahri was the sweetest sometimes.
"My torso and my shoulder." he mumbled. "It's fine though, Damien took care of fixing me up."
After he heard her speak, he blinked with surprise showing in his eyes.
"Janaff kissed you? That's surprising.. I would have thought he'd be too meek to do something that bold." Daemon felt slight anger at this information, but he didn't show it. During that time, Janaff had a right to do anything he wanted. Ahri had been single at that time, but now she belonged to Daemon, and he wouldn't allow any more kisses from the owl boy - or anyone else on his lady. "I do wonder where he took off to, though."
Ahri nodded in agreement with Janaff being too shy to do stuff like that. "Is it bad that I don't exactly wonder.. or care? I'm angry at what he did to you." She said giving him a kiss on the neck, closing her eyes until she backed away, opening them again.

Now that really surprised Daemon. He had gone all this time, thinking Ahri would be angry with him for getting into a problem with Janaff. "Heck, I'm angry too. I'm pissed." he muttered, rubbing the back of his head. He placed a kiss on her forehead after she pulled back.
Daemon tried to conceal a slight of contempt about Janaff. He truly felt like he didn't need to worry about the owl laguz 'taking Ahri back' from him. Ahri belonged with Daemon, and it would always stay that way.
Daemon remembered his brother advising him to get rest earlier, and he realized why. His body felt exhausted from fighting, and his mind and spirit was tired.
Ahri noticed that he looked extremely tired and she could feel some anger within him by the way he spoke.
"You're never going to lose me to him, you know that right? There's no way he could separate us." She assured him, getting up and walking over to her dresser to change into her pajamas quickly. She also grabbed his and handed them to him. "Here. You look really tired, you should get some rest now. Sleeping in a cave wasn't so easy either. Just let me hold you and reassure you, I'm yours until the end." She said, getting back up onto the bed and she rolled the blankets down, the soft warm comforters rested, waiting for them to get into bed.
"Nothing can change it. Being able to sleep next to you every night is the best feeling." She said as she got under the blankets, gesturing for him to get under so he could finally get some rest.

Daemon nodded, understanding her. "I know.." he said simply, before getting changed into his pajamas, and settling down in the bed beside Ahri. "You're amazing, you know? I would lose something without you in my life."
Daemon wrapped his arms around Ahri's waist under the covers, intending to snuggle her in the bed while they fell asleep.
For the short time they had been apart, it had felt like ages and Daemon was glad that Ahri was back with him again. He sighed comfortably, wishing his brother could someday feel the same joy he felt himself from having a loving partner.
Ahri smiled and wrapped an arm around him, burying her head between his neck and shoulder. She was careful not to hurt him.
"You're amazing too.." She said, kissing his shoulder again. This wasn't the injured one, but she loved making him feel like he was cared about deeply. The lights to the room automatically switched off and she instantly felt warm at home.
"Sometimes I feel like I was born into the wrong skin, but I wouldn't trade myself for anything because you accept me for who I am. You make me feel, special.. Like being some nine-tailed freaky fox creature actually means something. I'll always worship you. I'll never take your love for granted." Ahri said, her tails draped off the edge of the bed because she was facing Daemon on the inside. When she finished talking, her hazel eyes closed and she snuggled closer to him, she even had to have one of her legs touching his for reassurance that he was still there.

Daemon felt warm from Ahri's words.
"I love you baby.." he didn't want to say anything else. Ahri was special to Daemon, she could always manage to make him smile, no matter what situation he was in. He knew he would always be there for her, and her for him. He felt himself dozing off, and held Ahri tighter. Daemon wanted to wake up every day with Ahri at his side. Their love was strong, and it would remain that way, this he was sure of. Janaff may be able to hurt them physically, but he could never hurt their love for each other. Sweet dreams. Daemon thought as he closed his own eyes, falling into the clutches of sleep.
Satoshi wakes up, staring at the rabbits eyes, tongue and guts on the floor, and the skin and fur of the rabbit a few centimetres away. He watched the maggots devour the remains of the corpse. He giggled, eating the rabbit with the maggots.
