Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
One of the guards grips the lever, ready to pull it. I brace myself for my inevitable death, hoping that the rope is long enough to snap my neck and kill me instantly, rather than choke me slowly and painfully.
Suddenly the door bursts open and everything goes black. Is that Deylia? I wonder. The guard knows something is going wrong, and without a second thought, pulls the lever. A trap door opens beneath me, and I drop, the noose becoming tight. But it doesn't kill me instantly, it doesn't snap my neck like it should have. I knew it, the rope was too short. They wanted me to die slowly and painfully...
I dangle there, unable to breath because of the rope around my neck, but still alive.
Finn dangled from the rafters and scouts out the room from above the smoke. I am the only one able to see through the smoke and I kill guards silently in the darkness, before I see a blind arrow fly by me. Ducking behind a seat, I see Finn fly down from the roof to find Asuka.
I try to call out to whoever caused the black smoke to see if it is Deylia, but the rope is constricting my windpipe, and nothing comes out. I struggle to swing myself to the side to stand back on the wooden platform, but the more I do that the tighter he rope gets, so I stop. There's nothing that so can do right now.
Finn chucks one axe to cut the rope and swings on the other one to grab Asuka before she hits the floor. Hood still up, he grabs Asuka by the waist and carries her to safety. "I've got you."
Above the row, I create a ball of flashing light and the guards shoot at it as I crawl away.
Someone that I don't know cuts me down. I try to ask who they are, but the noose is still quite tight around my neck, so I can't speak properly. I can breathe now though, even if only slightly.
"Finn! Let's go!" I shout as the fog starts to clear. I notice Roxie and sigh. "I guess you should come with us..." I sigh and drag Roxie behind me. Finn runs out the exit.
The boy that cut me down carries me out. The noose is still tight around my neck restricting my ability to breathe, so I try to get the noose off, but I can't undo the knot.
"I've got it." Finn says as he untangles the not.
I grab onto Roxie. "Hold on." Running towards the window, the four of us jump out it and sail into the air.
