Arrgh! What is that noise?! Then I saw light. Actual light. I stood up and went towards it. Seeing one of the girls that was down here already out, I followed her, excited to see what happened while we were down here. When my eyes adjusted, my hope died inside.

 

[Beary]

When I am able to stop blinking, and look around, all I can see is a baking plain of fried stone, with waves of heat coming off of them.

We return to THIS? To THIS?!
My frustration is apparent.

 

[nard]

Looks like she's upset. Maybe we should go back into the bunker... I back off, and go back into my seat in the dark room.

Waking up due to the unusual amount of light, i woke up to a bright flash. "What...is...this...." I mumbled, half asleep.
Squinting, i got out of bed and tried to observe the surrounding area. "Is.... this... heaven?" I said. After getting used to the light, I immediately doubted what i had just said.

 

[Beary]

"There has to be..somewhere..where there is life.." I whisper.
I suddenly bend down and look in one of the cracks in the rock. Seeing a flash of green, I peer deeper.
A leaf!

 

[nard]

I see the girl on the ground, inspecting something. What could it be..? I get up and go over to her to see what she sees. "A-A leaf?!"

 

[Beary]

"What do you think, genius?" I mutter.

Well then, good first impression.. I stand up and start to walk into the barren plain. Better get going, lots to see in this world.

 

[Beary]

Crack.
My eyes flare a brilliant green, and my senses heighten.
Oh, great. A Flare now? How useful.
Peering ahead into the dust, I see...movement..
Something blue.
A stench hits my nostrils like rotting flesh, and I double over from the smell. When I look closer, I see a beast almost 10 feet tall, with a single gigantic eye and two legs. And it's running toward us.

 

[Naiad]

I notice two people already outside as I exit the bunker.

What where their names again? Ah, yes. Orion. Orion and Jade. She seems to be upset, though I can't figure out why. Next thing I know, she's doubled over and gagging.

I frown, "You okay there?"

 

[Beary]

"Get. In. The. Bunker." I say with gritted teeth. "Now, if you don't want to be slashed to pieces."
I start running. "ORION!"

 

[nard]

I continue to walk and yell back to Jade. "What's the point? We're all going to end up dying in there anyways! I might as well get it over with now!"

 

[Beary]

"YOU IDIOT!" I yell, and finally catch up with him.

 

[nard]

I turn and stop. "Oh, what now? Can't I enjoy my walk, Jade? Can't I?"

 

[Naiad]

I sigh and my frown deepens. Taking orders from children is definitely not something I enjoy doing. Heck, I was in med school before all hell broke loose.

Then I notice the monster.
"Oh."

I run back into the bunker and shut my eyes. "This can't be happening. Oh my god. Ohmigod."

 

[Beary]

In fury and panic, I grab him by the arm just as the monster starts to roar and start pulling him back.
