[Roleplay] The Aftermath

[Beary]

"I..don't..need help!"

 

[BerryPop]

I run outside, wondering what is going on, as i had not heard a thing. "What happened?" I look around and see the others standing a small distance away.

 

[Naiad]

I sigh again. "Thanks, Orion. Four to five hours of sleep should be enough for now. Let's hope that no more of those things find up before then. I think we'll be safe if we close the bunker doors."

I reach over to Jade and place my hand on her forehead. "Soothe."

"If you had any muscle pain, it should be gone now. It'll make it easier to sleep."

I look up to see Dawn darting toward us. "Nothing good." I grimace.

 

[FireNinja1]

I hear some noise, and I run in the direction. "Uh...everything okay?"

 

[Cyan507]

I run over to the group, double checking the monster is down.

"Is everyone okay??"

 

[Beary]

"I don't need sleep! I just killed a freaking cyclops-blue-thing. I'm fine!"
To prove this, I stand up and only succeed in tipping over onto my rear again.

 

[Naiad]

"Sort of. It's complicated. Orion was just helping me carry Jade back to the bunker. She's tired, but as far as I can tell, she's fine."

I roll my eyes as Jade falls. "One of you, please get Jade back to the bunker. I'm afraid there's just going to be many more unsuccessful attempts at standing up if she stays out here."

 

[BerryPop]

"Jade, it would be safer if one of us helped you."

 

[Beary]

"You want safe, hug another cyclops." I mutter.

 

[Cyan507]

I look to Jade.

"Jade, just take it easy. Stay here in the bunker, I'll keep on eye on her."

 

[Beary]

I decide to stop complaining, and grab a nearby blanket, using it to cover up my ears.

 

[Naiad]

I glance at the group, "Oh, yeah. There was a cyclops. Pretty big one too. Guess earth got screwed up while we were gone."

I smile at Matthew, "Thanks, but I'm afraid we'll all have to watch Jade. Orion thinks there might be more of them. The bunker is our safest bet until Jade recovers. Don't worry, it'll be five hours maximum."

 

[Beary]

"We just get out, and then I'm shoved in here again. Great." I mumble to myself.

 

[Cyan507]

I walk to Sai and correct my mask.

"You're right. No place is safe, only safer. I'm just thinking out loud here but what if we sent someone to scout and find somewhere to stay for the night?"

 

[nard]

"Yeah, I agree. I'll go if needed."

 

[Naiad]

I smile at Matthew, "Good idea. The question is, who? We'd have to send out a group of three, maybe four people at most. I can go on either, but I'm afraid I can't do much to help if we do have a run-in during the exploration. Healers aren't exactly good at much else than healing."

"How're you holding up, Jade?" I approach her and help her stand. "Orion?"

 

[BerryPop]

"Well, if you do go, where are we going to find food? OR WATER????
Or did this planet turn into a desert?"
I start to think of every single worst case scenario.

 

[Cyan507]

I nod at Orion and turn my attention back to Sai.

"If that's the case with healers and you think we need a party of three, it might be wise to have them search for supplies such as medical kits, survival kits and small weapons as well as essentials. I don't mind staying or going, but I'm not much use in the field as you can tell."

 

[nard]

I start to think about what Dawn said. What if there IS no food or water?

 

[Beary]

"I'm fine." I say.
