Nodding towards Sai, I keep on walking. "You guys should get into the bunker and try to get some sleep. And someone keep an eye on Jade, please."

 

[Beary]

"IM NOT A CHILD! HALF THE PEOPLE HERE ARE YOUNGER THEN ME!" I holler.

I'll stay here for the night. I'm wrecked. I'll try to hook up the electricity in the bunker.

 

[Naiad]

I turn around, "Jade. I'm 22. I was going to be a doctor. I studied years to get into medical school, and then the world goes to hell. This isn't a case about you being a child. This is about you not being smart enough to take advice from someone who actually knows what they're doing. If you're smart, follow Matthew back to the Bunker. You'll have opportunities to explore later."

I flash a small smile at Matthew before running after Orion.

 

[Beary]

"I'm not an idiot. I can get back myself."
I half stumble, half walk back to the bunker, and reflect on the day.
I know that some people were older then me, but others who hadn't come out of the bunker were younger then me. I know that.

Unexpectedly, I Flare again. Giving up on sleep, I start pacing, and think.
Why am I so bad with people?
I don't know how to accept help. I don't like working with others. Why does it make it so hard?

I start to see the city in the distance. "We're here!" Even though we are close, I still continue my slow walk. I turn my head to see a large rock, with something sticking out under it. "Hey Sai, do you see that?" I point to the rock.

 

[Beary]

( It's bothering me a bit how an ATOMIC BOMB was supposed to be detonated, destroying everything in earth except the bunkers, but we're searching for a city..)

(If that happened, well, the characters wouldn't be able to live. Food and water would be gone, and we would all die, making this whole roleplay a waste. :L)

I nod, "Yeah, what is it?" I approach the rock.

Following her, I study it closely. Still not knowing what it is, I grab and try to pull. I get it free. "A.. crowbar?"

I eventually doze off inside the bunker on a cot.

 

[Naiad]

"Interesting." Sai tilted her head, "You could use it as weapon, my brother used to love melee fighting in video games. I'm not exactly sure how well it works in real life, but it's worth a shot."

"Yeah. We should keep it, just in case.. You know." I peer under the rock to see if there is anything else. I stand up. "Doesn't see there's anything else here, we should keep going."

I nod at him. "Just tell me if you need any medical help."

I continue to follow Orion as he starts a brisk pace. "So, what about you? What'd you do before all of this?"
