"I don't know..." I say. I can't stop looking at the burning car. "If I hadn't cast up the dome, the driver would have lived, but we would have died, but..." I walk up to the car and see a bloody body.
"Sorry."
They walk closer to the car. I walk up closer to them. They are looking at a bloody something, not sure exactly what it is. Senses can only go so far.
"What are you looking at?"
What the heck happened? I look around for someone that might have seen all of this. I see a girl talking to some other guy. The girl was crying. "Hey, what happened?" Oh crap, it's them!
I gasp, realizing what happened, what we are looking at, what I just did, and sprint away, back in the direction of the school. I reach the gate of the school, and sit down, crying.
"Uh...okay." I say it really quietly. I didn't want him to know I'd just arrived. Probably didn't care, anyway. I headed off back to the dorm, double locked my door, activated my security alarm threefold - one for the alarm, one for the computerized voice, and one to automatically contact law enforcement. I really was scared now.
"A car was about to hit us, so I created an obsidian dome to protect us. The car crashed into it, and spun out into this fence." I say, trying to comfort Ivy as I explained.
I heard my ears tingle.... Someone was talking and I heard everything. SO, that's what happened?I thought. Didn't feel like saving lives anyway. I have better things to do. I walked into the History classroom. All eyes were on me.
I nod, and we start heading back towards the Boarding school. I head inside my room, and lock the door, drawing tye curtains so nobody can see. I look at my back in the mirror, and gasp.
There are tiny wings poking out of my shoulderblades. Was that what was hurting so badly?
I start to run back, but think twice about returning to the scene. Better wait for them to come back, I think, listening to the sirens wailing. I draw my blinds shut and lie down on my bed. "Just another day in my life," I mutter to myself, rolling my eyes.
"Oh, a newbie?" How dare you call me newbie?
"Were do I sit?" Right there, he pointed. Next to her.
I just felt like letting loose after the whole incident. Using my super strength to come, pick up the building and everyone inside it, and throw it to stone cold destruction. I don't know how I managed to keep it in. So far this school is just like Bayport-cold, unfriendly, and not willing to give a fellow an Oreo.
Arriving back at the school, I lock my dorm room door behind me and pull of my hoodie. I then switch on the fan in the corner of the room, and collapse onto my bed.I've been here for less than a full day, and so much has happened...
