Ivy had called the waiter over, so I order a slice of pumpkin bread too. It's been so long since I've had any.

"I'll have some, too." I say, sipping from the glass of water the waiter put down. It's a nice, cool summer day.

 

[Beary]

I lean back, then stop as my back hurts. The waiter comes back with three slices on pumpkin bred, and I take a small bite, savoring the taste.

I get some pizza. "Make that to go, actually." About five minutes later he comes out with a takeout box. I pay him, leaving him a tip, and head back to the dorm room. I noticed that the other kids were sitting at another table. I went over to cross the street, but the sign said "Do Not Cross", so I had to wait.

I take a bite, and am amazed by the taste of it. "Wow, this is so much better than the pumpkin bread from the cafe back in Bristol..." I mutter, before taking another bite.

"Um, Ivy, isn't that the boy you were talking to earlier about dorm rooms?" I ask, pointing to the boy who is waiting to cross the road.
