{Roleplay} The Elements

"Well, either way, we probably shouldn't just have them loose in our pockets. What if I put them into rings? Getting a ring off someone's finger would be harder than getting a loose gem from someone's pocket..."

"If I could get hold of a few normal rings, it shouldn't be too hard to take the diamond or whatever is in it, and replace it with our gems. We'd only need two, I have a ring that I could put mine in already," I told him, taking a ring from a back pocket in my blue shorts. I had found it not long before we came to this school, in the bottom of the lake, and kept it. It just had a plastic gem in, but it would work fine. "I'm going to try this with mine," I add, heading to my dorm room and sitting at the desk.

"Anywhere, really. They don't have to be anything special, they just need space to fit a gem in. I found this one at the bottom of a lake," I told him, trying to curl back the bits of metal that held the plastic gem in place. I didn't have any wire cutters or anything, so I just used a pair of scissors, but it worked eventually. The plastic gem dropped out onto the desk.

"In that case, let's go to the cafeteria. Lots of stuff is lost there, I'm sure we can find something. Come on, let's go!"

"You can go on ahead, I'll catch up in a minute, I want to finish this one to see if it works," I say, taking the water gem from my pocket and beginning to fiddle around with the ring.

After a few minutes of fiddling, both with my fingers and the scissors, I had the metal bent firmly back in place around the water gem. That wouldn't be falling out any time soon.
Before heading to the cafeteria to help find another wo rings, I decided to test this to make sure it works. It turned out to be just as easy to use as mu regular powers, and with no dificulty, I managed to freeze a glass of water on the desk.
Wow, it actually does change the state of it!
I slipped the ring onto my middle finger, and then ran to the cafeteria to help search.

"Hmm." I muttered. I decided to sit leaning against the wall on the roof. I waved my hand, allowing the rainwater in the gutters to swirl in the air.

"I got the gem in, and it works!" I told Rory as I continued to search the cafeteria, under all of the tables and chairs.

"Great! That one can be for yours, we just need one for Mirai now. Does that one have a diamond or anything like that in it?"

"Thanks."
Luckily, I had thought ahead to bring the scissors with me, so I was able to bend the silver out of the way, allowing me to take the diamond out. It took a little longer than with my ring, as it was of a better quality than mine, but I managed it without too much trouble.
"Do you have your gem with you?"

"Yep. It's a bit greasy from the hash browns though." I pulled it out and put it on the table.

"Haha, it's fine," I said, picking the gem up and rubbing it on the bottom of my shirt before starting to bend the metal back around it.
A few minutes later, it was secure in place. "Here. What does that gem do?" I ask, giving him the ring.

"Not sure. It's possible that I could just try shooting an arrow into the sky, and see what'd happen to it.
