Akise nodded. "Well, Maggie, if you ever need anything, then Satoshi and I would be glad to help. You could probably find us if you look. It's pretty quiet around here, so if you call our names, we'll probably hear you." Akise said, smiling back at her.

"Oh alright.. Do you guys have a shelter or something?" Maggie looked around, the scent was still strong. Maggie twirled her umbrella.

"We used to, but something happened there and we all kinda just... split up. It's on 56th street if you want to stay there. But, there might be something you don't want to see there, so, you might want to find another place."

They really didn't clean up Kaida's remains? I would have done that. Maggie had a sad look on her face. "Oh I see. I think I'll just hang around you guys," Maggie smiled.

"Hm? Sure," Maki replied to david

After they come to they secret place,david inmediately hugged maki

Satoshi slowly walked to the two, stuck on a limp. He arrived slowly. "Hello, I suppose Akise has already introduced me?" He asked. "If not, my name is Satoshi. Yours?"

Akise looked behind her. "This is Maggie, Satoshi. She said she's gonna hang around us for a while." she said.

Maki hugged david back. "The war..it just drove people insane..it was too much for some people to handle," maki said. She gave him a kiss. "At least neither of us went crazy.."

Maggie looked over to Satoshi. "Yes, Akise has already introduced you. It's nice to meet you, I'm Maggie." Maggie gave a sweet smile. I wonder how much this hurts him. Well its not my fault that Lucille picked his girlfriend. I personally didn't want her to die.

"Hi!" He said. He smiled, sticking out a hand for a handshake. He was still standing on a limp, his eyes were hollow, they had lost their passion long ago.

Maggie gave him a handshake. Then she quickly put her hand back on the umbrella. Maggie adjusted her backpack strap.

Satoshi withdrew his leg. He looked at his fists. They were covered in scars and scrapes from punching the wall. He pretended like the injuries weren't there.

The rain had stopped. Maggie went a little far away from them. Maggie closed the umbrella and pushed it down. Maggie unzipped her bag and put her umbrella in there. You could catch a glimps of Lucille's handle, but to the others it could look like a regular baseball bat. Maggie quickly zippered her bag back up.

Maki was so happy. She had someone to love. Someone to love her. She was happy, for the first time in so long. She felt her back. Her wings. "Looks like your little theory of me being happy proved true," she said, smiling
