I run back until we reach the park. I notice Samantha wake up and I put her down. "Sorry about knocking you out..."

"Knocking me out..?" I ask, confused. "Is that why my head hurts now?"

I sniff and keep crying. "That's even worse!"

I sigh and pat him on the head to comfort him. "Don't cry, it's annoying."

I wake up in my room, and sit up.

"I... tried to kill you? I wouldn't try to hurt a friend, would I?" I ask, more to myself than Jean. Mitch injected me with stuff, could that have something to do with it? I run after Jean, who walks off. "I'm so sorry Jean..."

 

[Naiad]

I snore softly in my sleep.

I sigh and pat him on the head to comfort him. "Don't cry, it's annoying."

I wipe away my tears. "So you love me?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Er... What?"
"You nearly killed me." I point to my injuries around my sides. "And it still sorta hurts."

I notice Gio snoozing on the couch, and grin.
I tiptoe over to him, and delicately place a pillow on his head.
