"yup. That should be everyone." I slunk off to a corner. "Sorry I took so long. I picked up a possible recruit." After that I shut my mouth, not wanting to speak anymore. My socialness had run out.

"hmmm... That could only really be that you were attacked. I can't think of anyone who could destroy their own eye." The eye- or should I say, lack of eye- didn't even make me flinch. When you've livdn on the streets, you tend to get used to that kinda thing. ​

 

[Midoriya]

"Nice to meet you. I'm Xavier, one of Stellar's high-ranking officials." Xavier said as he walked up to the girl and offered her his hand to shake. He looked at the dog and smiled.

I took his hand and smiled. He seemed an alright person.

"So, you want to join Stellar, Eh?" Xavier asked. "I was beginning to wonder when we would get our next new recruit. Thanks for bringing her with you, Elizabeth." He added. "Okay, now back to the meeting. Spokesperson, if you would?" Xavier motioned to the Spokesperson.

 

[himeki]

"You can. I have a date with my boyfriend later, I need to save my voice"

 

[KittyKittyBoo]

"Huh... I expected you to scream or something. I met this girl earlier who screamed as if she saw a monster!" I laughed, putting my patch back on. Finishing the apple, I threw the core away. "What are you reading?"

 

[Midoriya]

"Okay then, moving on." Xavier said slowly. "Now, since the audio was cut that means only one thing. Alpha or Beta must of hacked our cameras in that section of the city and cut out the audio. There's obviously something they didn't want us to hear, and that is why I need four volunteers to accompany me to the city in a recon mission and find out what they're hiding. At the very least our goal is to fix the cameras and search the area for clues. Now, who wants to join a big guy on the journey?" Xavier asked.

"E-r um..... can I add something?" I pondered

I stood up and walked over to the door. I did whatever I could be most useful at and in this case, that was this mission.

"I think it's a waste of breath to scream for no good reason." I finished my apple and threw away the core as well. "Oh? I'm reading one of the first books I ever stole." I held it up for her inspection. "It's not a master piece, but it's one of the only books that I've managed not to loose." ​

 

[Midoriya]

"Sure, what is it Lily?" Xavier asked the new girl.

"Kuroyuki...has an immense sniffer skill....as her parents were sniffer dogs.....so she could help...."

 

[Midoriya]

"Amazing! That would be an awesome help to the mission! Okay, that's one down, three more members to go. Who else wants to join me?" Xavier asked.

"And what am I? Rubbish?" I scowled from my position by the door. "I'm gonna go get changed into ninja gear. I'll be back in five minutes." I walked over to the staff door before anyone could say anything and went up to the tiny room that had my change of clothes.​

 

[Midoriya]

"No, you're not rubbish. You're valuable to the mission as well!" Xavier called out to Elizabeth. "Okay, including Elizabeth, Lily, and Kuroyuki that's three accompanying me. We need one more for the team. Anyone else?" Xavier asked.

"Why read a book again when you already know what's going to happen?" I mumbled, staring at it. "I think I have some books..." I added, getting up. Running into the kitchen, I grabbed some cook books, bringing them back to Elliot. "Here you go!"

"Oh....what should I do? I don't have a change of clothes, nor anything to defend myself with... Oh! I did kendo for a little while..."I mumbled

[Midoriya]

"Lily, there's weapons and clothes in the clothes room. Go take a katana and a change of battle clothes and change into them, then come back here." Xavier said. "Now, anyone else want to join the team?" Xavier asked.

A lean, tall average looking guy in a red outfit with two giant axes stored in a sachet on his back came forward. "I'll join you guys. I've been looking for some action." He said.

"Good, what's your name?" Xavier asked.

"My name? It's Wil-, Er, I mean Grant. Nice to meet you, Xavier." The man said.

"Okay, our team's ready. As soon as everyone is changed into their battle gear we'll head out." Xavier said as he put on his gold, spike-laced gloves.

"Oh, I see. Thank you!" I stroked Kuroyuki, and she went and sat on a stool, licking spilt coffee off the table.
I went into the room, and picked out a white, red and black dress, and tied my hair in a bun. I picked a lightweight katana, and walked out.
