-=+=-[RP] The Camp - A horror story - Accepting! [RP]-=+=-

I sigh,
"That's what we're all trying to figure out." I say, when suddenly, I see the mist turn into a dark grey

"Not that I know of..." I say as I hear a little laugh off In the distance.

EDIT: Typos galore with my iPad

Laura thought she heard a faint laughing, though she passed it off as her imagination. She thought, or rather hoped, it was just down to her being paranoid that something would happen in the unfamiliar place.

I snapped out of a trance, taking shuttering breaths. Seeing the new girl, I backed away from her, quickly pulling my bangs over my eyes.

Through her peripheral vision, Laura saw another girl backing away from her. She turned face this other girl, wondering why she'd backed away. "Did I do something wrong..?" She wondered out loud, without realising she'd actually spoken rather than just thought.

I only shook my head, backing up until I reached the corner. "No... I'm just in shock... Everything is happening so fast... I wish it would just slow down..." I murmured, buirying my face into my arms which rested on my knees. Suddenly, the mist started to slow its movement, time granting my wishes.

Laura watched in confusion as everything slowed down. Except, since she too slowed down, everything seemed normal to her except that the girl's movements were faster as she buried her face in her arms. "What's going on?" Laura asked, her voice slow and stretched out to the other girl who hadn't slowed down.

"Oh God, are you okay? Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry..." Laura replied, wtachig the girl sobbing into her arms.

Laura took a few steps towards her. She was very confused by the fact that everything the girl did seemed sped up, but she didn't question it. "Don't worry, I'm sure we can find our way out of here if we work together."

I huddled back into the corner, pressing as far into it as possible, turning away from her. I started to sob even more.

Laura watched with disdain, as the girl moved further away from her. Either she didn't like Laura, or she just wanted to be alone. Either one could be solved by Laura leaving her alone, paparently, so she didn't go any closer.
