The ghost started talking in a way Ryllis couldn't understand anymore; she didn't know if it was her, the way the story was told, or the story was naturally messed up.

"W--Wait , wait, wait..." she said, trying to take in every detail of the story. "You... you say you're both dead and alive? Like-- Like Schrodinger's Cat? And what's this... about a tree?" The girl took a second to breathe. "And, where is everyone else...?"
