They say the last sense to die is hearing; something Ryllis never got to think about until today. A low hum of another language entered her ears and she thought, she was either dying, or she was slowly becoming conscious. Regaining control of her arms and legs after what seemed to be hours, Ryllis was convinced the latter of her thoughts was true.
Her head still in a daze from the events, Ryllis squinted, her eyes opening up to a blurry world that became clearer in time. It was dawn, and here was a person she didn't know, lying somewhat close to her. The person must've fallen asleep a while back.
Realizing the situation she's in right now, how her arms were stripped bare from that night's events, her consciousness came back to her in a jolt, as Ryllis let out a gasp. The girl tried to stand up and run away, but, with legs trembling and her head in a state of pain, failed to do so.
"Ah... I-- I need to get home..." she said in a sore voice, desperately looking for her coat to cover her up while waiting for her body to recover. When she couldn't find it, Ryllis started crying, hiding her face from the world.
