{RP}: The Island

Raven's eyes fluttered open. She had fallen asleep whilst waiting for Dominic to awaken. She quickly scrambled awake and checked his pulse. He was still breathing... She unwrapped the wound and they had atleast stopped bleeding.

I had fallen asleep on the sand of the beach next to the fire. When I woke up, it was still alight and I decided to rest some more. I was sure Ellie was around somewhere.

My eyes break though a layer of crust from slumber. "Uuuugghhh..." Despite all the crazy stuff that's been going on, I can safely confirm one thing: I feel like crap.

The sun awoke Junior like someone would fall asleep: slowly and then all at once. "Urgh" He said while squinting and holding his eyes to the big orange ball of annoyance. Soon, the other survivors would be up, he thought. Then slowly, and without warning, his thoughts darted to his mother again; her smell, her talk, her walk. But most of all, he could never forget her smile. The smile that made everything ok and simultaneously amazing. The smile that he so desperately tried to share with the world. The smile he would never see again. A tear fell onto his cheek.

On all fours, I peer outside the shelter. I suddenly regret my actions as the piercing sun burns my eyes. "Ahhh...!" I gasp weakly in anguish.

Raven sighed.. she had no extra clothing. What to do? The plane exploded. There was no way her clothes in her suitcase were even close to being intact. She grabbed a sharp rock and a thick tree branch and started carving a spear. She was hungry and wanted to hunt something.

I crawl out of the shelter, and hold back a yawn. "Jesus..."

I spot another survivor sitting a little way ahead. "Morning." I say to her, raising my eyebrows briefly.

I stretch. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWN!" A hand quickly flies at my mouth. "Whoops, sorry.." I'm sure she was able to see my stomach from the way my mouth was so wide open.

I wake up by the fire and stretch. "Yawwwwwwn..." I look around, expecting to see one of my personal butlers, but I remember I am on the island. Uhhh, yeah...

Wait... Aren't we missing a few people? I think, getting up. I decide to go look for the few people who aren't here, and walk away from the shelter, headed towards the beach.

The sun still managed to shine through the tree tops, practically blinding Raven for a moment. She cringed and looked away. She hadn't heard much noise since she left the shelter, it was great. She continued to manufacture her spear.
