If I remember correctly, DirtyD had a thread wondering if during wi-fi, running had no effect on the grass. I think he said he was going to test it.

But seriously, it comes out that it does break during wi-fi. That's why I walk slow in my town, have flowers (almost) everywhere, grow trees in dirt areas, and my grass is pretty much perfect.
