Guess that's what Nintendo is calling the Rich Town law, lol.

Bell Boom? O_o What was wrong with calling it "Rich Town"?
Bell Boom sounds as if the bells that fall out of trees may explode at any moment. D:

I first saw it, got annoyed, 5 seconds later I'm over it.

It's fine.
EDIT: I actually really like it, now.

This caught my eye: "Other players can, however, become mayor of a new town by transferring their save data to their own copy of the game that has no-one living in it yet."

I guess it's like the DS Suitcase?

you sending one of your 3 other human made char to other copy of the game if I recall the early infor on that

In Italian it's "Pioggia di stelline" (Bell Rain - actually "stelline" means "stars", that's how AC money is called in my language since the first AC installment).

Now watch the US version call it "Good Economy" as a response. :p
I won't care either way, people are forgetting that AC tends to be marketed towards kids, but anyone can play it.

It is exactly like they announced Fortune Street for America and then changed it to be titled as Boom Street in Europe.
