Ye I re-posted the original 20, no edits were made in either post to those 20 items submitted. The first post just got the edit tag from the post merge (which, let's be honest, this is a high-stress event so slips can be made 
I shouldn't have attempted adding anything in the first place but in both the original submission and the new unedited post, the same 20 items were used throughout )

Good thing the new post is actually the same as the original 20you guys can submit/post as many times as you guys want but the submission has to be the same each time, you can't edit out different users and images
Figured I'd get the original, unedited submission submitted without the edit tag to be safe

And the op doesn't say that we can't resubmit an updated list so I'm actually genuinely unsure if we can? No editing is obvious because you can just add something at a later date but that's not the same as resubmitting a better list.

Sure and I don't see anything wrong with that for this type of race. Especially if we need at least 80% to submit in the first place!
I think the main takeaway is: the first submission was never meant to be edited
