Yeah,there's a lot of luxury cars left on this island and I'm not sure why because everyone here is an animal with no use for motor vehicles or they're humans that are too young to drive anyways.They're kinda pretty,though.

Actually motor vehicles were used in older AC games. Like for example Gracie Grace has her own Car in the original Animal Crossing on GameCube and Kapp'n used to be a Bus Driver during Wild World and City Folk.

I spent enough time trying to wash Gracie's stupid car in AC Gamecube so yes,I do remember motor vehicles from previous AC games.I was just trying to make a humorous observation about the current inhabitants of my island.

Yeah I know but it would be interesting to see villagers driving cars. I once saw a funny diagloue of a lazy villager saying that they are not "allowed to drive cars anymore"

I recently discovered this and I am surprised I never knew you could do this. Basically you can share QR Codes from New Leaf and Happy Home Designer and you can use it on your Designer App on your nookphone. Only problem is it requires a NSO account and of course you need to have the NSO app on your smartphone to do this. Its too bad Nintendo shut down the Eshop.
