I recently discovered this and I am surprised I never knew you could do this. Basically you can share QR Codes from New Leaf and Happy Home Designer and you can use it on your Designer App on your nookphone. Only problem is it requires a NSO account and of course you need to have the NSO app on your smartphone to do this. Its too bad Nintendo shut down the Eshop.

So for the last couple of days I have been trying to catch a scorpion. I first saw one on my island one night when I was TT to catch a Barreleye. I missed it and got stung. Plotting my revenge, I looked up how to catch one and found a way to get them to spawn on a mystery island. So I used a bunch of NMT until I found a bamboo island; I cleared the island and waited. Sure enough, scorpions began to show up. I slowly snuck up on them multiple times, getting stung every time. Finally on the 10th time, I got it!
