This happened yesterday during the Spring Fishing Tourney:
They have the entire length of the rivers and coastline plus a pond to fish in, yet 5 of my villagers decided the best way to catch fish was in a line right up next to each other
Also, thought I'd share a couple of new little areas I've recently created on Nutmeg:

Pretty happy with how they've both turned out

Here are some screenshots I took during the past 10 days and haven't gotten around to sharing until now. It all consists of dialogue I found to be humorous.
Not gonna lie, you kinda have a point there. I like the cherry blossom petals though... they're pretty.
Filbert used to live in Westward, so I was excited when I saw him grooving to some DJ K.K. in the Archipelago. You can tell he has come quite a long way, and yet his personality has barely changed.

I visited someone else's island to drop something off for them, and I noticed that they also had Zucker on their island like I do! But this Zucker here had no idea who I was. Excuse me, I'm the human you see a lot in Westward! After some thinking, I finally came to the conclusion that I had just met the long-lost twin brother of the Zucker I know. I mean, look at that outfit!

A few minutes later, she asked me to take a photo in front of the 5,000th fish I ever caught. It's only a sea bass, but Dotty didn't seem to care about that.

The stars really do jog your memories, don't they? I don't think your magnifying glass is the right tool to stargaze, however.

I just finished Claude’s vacation home

I thought it was funny that I could call him in the middle of the night - 1:27 AM since when I tried to go to back shortly after finishing his requested theme so I could decorate it the way I wanted to, it would not let me because he was sleeping lol.
He’s so cute in his pajamas and nightcap

When I could finally go back and design his vacation house again, i decorated it exactly as I did here. I thought I did this in harv’s studio and I forgot entirely that I decorated his home (and that we could even do that once completing the dlc)
. I had to obviously change it something different.
The initial plan was to expand more on the fact he shares his name with a Fire Emblem Three Houses character. But, I was unable to come up with anything else.
The next plan was to try to design around the idea he is also a painter considering that there was an artist named Claude (Claude Monet). I downloaded a qr code that was based on one of Monet’s paintings to use. I would have downloaded more but I’m out of custom design slots and I don’t know which designs that I have, that I’m not using in any of my HHP designs or on my island. I saw there was only a few items related to painting.
What I somehow ended up with is this:
Exterior is based loosely on Fontaine in Genshin Impact.
Interior is based on the Palais Mermonia, Neuvillette’s office. I also downloaded a qr code of his outfit

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure that I was able to visit other villagers’ vacation homes late at night. I’ll find out tonight and will edit this post if I’m wrong though. I have Claude on my island right now, so maybe that is why

That's most likely why Claude replied that he's trying to sleep. This normally doesn't happen with non-resident villagers on the archipelago as time of day can be adjusted for each individual home.I don’t think so. For Rodney’s house’s design, I based it loosely on the games: Shadow Hearts & Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Originally, I was going to try remaking something I put together at Harv’s Studio, something that I made during an event when The Woods was available. I was going to make some changes but keep the “story” behind it, involving Tangy. The design was also inspired a little by Shadow Hearts but not as much as the one I just finished.
Some of the villagers I included were ones that partook in The Woods discussion (the topic was that we all lived on the same island).
Here is Rodney’s house:
The exterior is very loosely based on some locations in the game: Paris on the left; Japan on the right. I may edit the exterior some more since I’m still not completely satisfied with how the left half of the exterior looks.
I based this loosely off the first Shadow Hearts graveyard - screenshot below is from here.

I designed the outfit by the tree in Nl; it’s the protagonists’s outfit in SH: Covenant. The Dolly on the pillow represents Garan; the Samurai Suit represents Susano-O and the items by it represent the kusanagi sword, a mirror, and a gem which all played a part in the boss fight. The four masks on the wall represent some malevolent spirits in Yuri’s graveyard in Shadow Hearts. The trophy represents a key item to get the good ending. The lamps by each gravestone represents a different element. The gravestones is how Yuri powered up his fusions (he can turn into demons). The dollhouses represent Domremy, a village where Yuri was staying at the beginning of Shadow Hearts: Covenant. The dog represents the wolf, Blanca, one of Yuri’s companions. The top hat represents Albert Simon, the main antagonist in Shadow Hearts, who also makes an appearance in Covenant.
The outfit I put together on Rodney or tried to is based on Yuri’s father’s outfit and the fox mask was symbolic in the game too. From time to time, an enemy showed up that looked like his father wearing the fox mask. Originally, i was going to have Rodney wear the funny glasses, an instant muscles suit and a hat, but as my idea for his house evolved into a tribute to the games, I decided to pick something else.
I have another design to share, but I’m waiting to hear back from a friend before I post it. I might twink it some more before he does since I think some changes might make it better.
For a short time before my hiatus from here and NH, I started putting together some silly outfits and did some photoshoots, as well as mini “stories” with some “scenes” I set up using Harv’s studio.
When I first got the Sanrio amiibo cards, the first thing I did was make silly outfits with it. I think this might be one of the funnier combinations of them all

The next one I based loosely on One Piece.

This is my main character; the other character was Hiyori, one of my alt characters. I based this loosely off of Kin’emon (the headkerchief was used by a different character in the series but I couldn’t help but think it’d work well with Kin’emon). I could’ve probably found a qr design for him but I wanted to use what clothes I had .
Next one is just quick silly outfit I put together.
The funny thing is that I never use the bonnet and had no plans to until I realized how fun making silly outfits was.
Last one for now is another One Piece influenced photoshoot.
My main character is the one lying down. Since Zoro is called Moss Head by Sanji, I thought why not have him literally have a moss head?
The doll represents Toko and the skeleton represents Brook. My other character is herself, Hiyori.
I’ll be continuing messing around in the studio to get more outfit ideas and to do some fun photoshoots.

.When the Sanrio cards were first released, I remember there was a discussion of the rug; a few of us in the group would sometimes use one fossil in particular to decorate. So inspiration, comes from the discussion and the time I spent with them.

I thought I had got his picture before but apparently I didn’t; the picture of him that I already had, I got from a trade.
I had no idea that what sea creatures I had left (haven’t checked at all since returning from my hiatus). I was diving for the nook mile easy points.

I just went to Harv’s studio and played around with outfits and the photo filters. Since I just designed a MGS themed vacation home (I might share the design once I’m more satisfied with it and when I get the exterior done), I thought to try for some Psycho Mantis vibes (Psycho Mantis is one of the bosses that you fight in the first MGS)
I used other filters too, but I think these are the ones it turned out looking the best.
