Rory's costume theme was supposed to be chefs/cooks. But I was battling covid plus taking care of someone who had it and I had to cancel a bunch of times.

My two guitar wielding squirrels.

One practically born to play the guitar and has been since his college days. He was a part of an underground band with fellow members, Ricky and Dobie. They weren't very popular. But it didn't matter to them, as they really enjoyed what they were doing before they split due to some creative differences. However, this did not damper the relationship they built with each other. As the three still meet up every now and then to play together or just shoot the breeze.

And the other was inspired by the ex-college bandmate. But instead of metal or rock, he's more into writing cheesy love songs and is currently struggling to write the perfect piece of music for a special someone; what he tells everyone around town at least.
Sometimes he will challenge Static to a duel; Static always declines.

(Also he has no clue that the guitar he has is different from the purple guy's.)

i wanted to try playing around with making fake buildings / "hiding" buildings, since i've done it before with my museum on my previous island, i decided why not try with the able sister's shop this time around !!
i feel like most fake buildings i see utilize nook's cranny so i just left it as is and went for the tailor shop

Started terraforming my island again. Hello, endless sea of grass.
This is just one selection of the island, I didn't knock everything down. That would have been terrible.

The island is finally going to have an open library again. I actually made something like this last year. Can't wait to see my villagers sit and read.
Which I know they're not, maybe except for Poppy.
I should add a fish tank in there to attract Sylvana and Claude.

I just realized I selected the wrong screenshot for the Unreal Estate event when transferring them off my switch because I was in too much of a hurry trying to make the deadline I’m so mad at myself, I liked this screenshot so much better!!!

So like last year, I will post in this thread to make myself feel better (at least I actually submitted something this year, so that’s a huge improvement!)

My niece came over to my island for a visit, the last time we played together was early this year. She came over dressed like a hot dog; she said it was also what she wore for Halloween this year in real life.
She got to visit Marshal again, a villager she really likes and she doesn't like the centipede that I left in front of Claude's house.

After the tour of my island we went over to her island, she was giving me a tour of what she's done so far. She told me that her island's theme was going to be pastel and she only finished her entrance so far, it was looking amazing so far. She showed me her two new villagers, Stu (doesn't like) and Sasha (ok).

And here's the funny part about all of this...that Sasha just happens to be mine! lol

I wasn't paying attention when I was talking to him, because I was listening to my niece talking about what she achieved on her game so far and just took the screenshots of me talking to him. Then this morning when I went to upload my pictures online, that's when I noticed his dialogue and what makes it worst. I told her I use to have a Sasha on my island, had no clue I just got done talking to him.

Don't know if she knows he was mines or not. He must've moved in the last time I played with her.

Also you didn't give me your picture, you silly bunny.
