I did the TBT Neighborly Hide-and-Seek today and took a few photos!
Here's most of us just waiting it out near the entrance. Clockwise, from the top left: @/Firesquids, @/Mistreil, @/Foreverfox, @/Captain Jigglypuff, @/Yanrima~, me. @/IonicKarma is not in the photo.
This is my hiding spot. I was behind the hardwood tree, and I thought it was perfect. XD Didn't take too long for Mistreil to find me though. x_x
Here's my last photo, which is at the carnival! IonicKarma is the one holding the wand; they didn't arrive when I took the first photo. Yanrima's not here because her internet died for a bit. (and you can tell from the date that Firesquids time-traveled. IDK why though.)

I used to design a bunch of vacation homes in HHP, then I went through a burnout. Now I'm back from it! Here's what I did for Buck. When I saw his idea, inspiration struck...
I designed his home to make it look similar to the locker room in my high school. The bathroom and teacher's room are bigger than in my design but I had to take some creative liberties when working on it.
Later, I did Bob's vacation home and simply worked with my idea for him.
It's deliberately messy and gives off "unfinished" vibes. Since Bob reminds me of an OC of the same name that I created when I was little, I wanted to design a house that reminded me of him and Scratch, a website I used to frequent the same time I made him. The Room Sketch wallpaper and flooring are a reference to the XY grid (reference) and the furniture represents "sprites". The popcorn machine and popcorn snack set are a callback to my OC's love for the crunchy snack. I titled the vacation home "Imagine, Create, Share" because it's one of the mottos of Scratch. One of my favorites.

Happy Birthday to our local purple squirrel, Static. He turned [REDACTED] today. Francine was also present for the celebration; I'm a bit bummed out that Nibbles wasn't there. She (and Hazel somewhat) is our #1 party animal. Guess she wanted to take a break and hang out with Sally and the others at the plaza.
It was a workout day.

I have been working on decorating parts of my island, Outpost 31. No real theme, just little areas with a small theme. Plus a few pictures with my villagers! I would like to know what you think so far! I have many more plans for my island areas, but these are a couple so far...
My newest area is a little zen garden-ish place.
This is my outdoor chess garden.
My outdoor movie theater inspired by an outdoor amphitheater where I grew up that had bonfires off to the sides. Honestly not sure how I feel about this set up... something doesn't sit right with me. I do like the movie posters though, thanks to custom designers!

And lastly, playing a heated chess match with Cyrano (you can probably tell I enjoy chess)

My island's queen has mustered an army of enchanted garden gnomes.They are prepared for mass ankle biting.
Dozing off mid-lift.........the result of ingesting too many eucalyptus leaves before a workout.

I had a nice day at the beach.I surfed a little,played with my rubber ducky and found a dead guy.
Any Red Dwarf fans might get a chuckle out of this.

To be honest I do notice that it’s a little off… maybe it’s the campfires? I can imagine that if such a setup existed in real life, it could cause a fire hazard. Obviously that can’t happen in Animal Crossing, but it’s something I can’t stop thinking about. It’s just my opinion, though.
Other than that, you have a nice setup! And the movie posters to the left are like the cherry on top. :D
