I really like chips. Here are a few!

Piattos, Mr. Chips, Tortillos, and Kirei. If I'm correct, they originated from the Philippines. I ate them since I was a child and I still like them to this day. Plus, you could tell that cheese is my favourite flavour.

Hello Panda 🐼
It is biscuit with chocolate creme inside! If you have a Five-Below, it's only $1.29 😎 (It's the only place that I know which sells it...)
I love those! The small drawings on the biscuit and the chocolate inside is the best. There's also a strawberry flavour, but I prefer chocolate. I get them from a No-Frills store. That same company also made Yan Yan, which is another favourite of mine!

Do JELL-O pinwheels count? Idk if they're that secret but they're a nice snack/dessert and I found them fun to make.

I've tried some of the snacks that were mentioned in this thread, but I will mention this.

I've had it before and I liked it, I remember the Korean store that had this one.
I mostly had the cookies and cream flavor of this one though.

Omg looks like the koala crackers <3 Best crackers.

But yeah those koala crackers that look and probably taste similar to this, Japanese snacks for the win.

I love both the Hello Panda and Koalas March filled with chocolate. Also, these gummies. They come in lots of different flavors but I like to mix the Kiwi and the Strawberry ones together.

Screams!!! I love these!! My friends and I would put them in the freeze...they're surprisingly good cold ^ 0 ^

Also, once my roommate and I were having hot cheetos. She had a container of cream cheese nearby and I cannot, for the life of me process what happened after. She dipped the hot cheetos into the cream cheese and then ate it. I tried it later and it was actually pretty good!! Would 100% recommend.

Ohh, another one because its summer here!! Frozen grapes are really good!! You just wash grapes like you normally do, put them in the freezer, wait a day or two, and eat!! They taste like freezers at first bite!

FROZEN GRAPES ARE SUPERIOR

(Also,, dries fruit is soooooo delicious, but people seem to forget about it very often 😭)

Despite never being to Ukraine, Russia, or even Belarus... I am Belarusian, and my favorite ‘snack’ (chocolate, morelike), is ‘Konafetto’.

Best way for me to describe it, it’s pretty much a round KitKat with either a creamy milk filling or a hazelnut filling. It’s soooo good. I love it a whole bunch. I can only buy it in bulk online, which is sad since it can be pretty expensive due to it being an exported good.

Another thing, would be ‘Umaibo’. Pretty much an average sized corn-puff snack from Japan, if I recall correctly. My FAVORITE is the cheese flavor, but I also love the pizza, corn potage, and the takoyaki.

I just love thin pancakes so much, sometimes I am ready to do them in the middle of the night and eat them with Nutella lol
the next day I regret doing that, but I don't care. Love them soooo

Tomatoes! If I don't eat at least 3 tomatoes in a day I feel like a dried squid. And I almost always find myself eating salad whether it's just plain lettuce etc. or a salad made with effort 😂 does this count as a snack? If it isn't I always have my secret stash of candies, milky candies are my favorite.

Honey candy. It doesn’t exactly taste like the real deal but I love it anyways.

Speaking of honey...creamed honey is THE BEST SPREAD if you get it at the right place

I buy these and freeze them. Then you just bring up the flaps and cut them off and then cut the top horizontally to give you an opening at the top.

Get a spoon with sharp edging:

And scrap off the mango flavored ice. It becomes like a raspado, or shaved ice. It’s great during the summer heat.

A couple of chips that I adore -- Popcorners from Costco and Kuai Kuai (snack in Taiwan).

not exactly a snack, but a food hack I feel like I have to share bc I tried it yesterday and it WORKED (courtesy of a friend who shared vids of ppl on Japanese YT doing it). It's not 100% perfect (obvi fresh noodles are the best) but it's actually a lot better than instant noodles for approximating ramen which really surprised me!

Basically you just need to boil water for spaghetti, add about a tablespoon of baking soda and a tablespoon of salt to the water, and boil the spaghetti. I didn't use any specific amount of water, but around 1L was recommended for the above. You want to cook the noodles for 1-2 minutes longer than the package says, and thoroughly rinse off all of the baking soda with cold water. Rinsing with cold water is actually quite standard for a lot of asian noodles since it gives a more springy texture ^o^

shout out to my fellow Koreans~~

One of my favorite sour candies! So tart and fruity

Esquites-1.jpg

corn in a cup / elotes en vaso:
SIMPLE VERSION
heat up a can of WHOLE sweet corn in a deep pan, heat up.
after it is warm, pour in a bowl / cup and add butter, a little bit of mayo (TINY AMOUNT), a lime, chili powder to taste, and top with cheese.
recommended type of cheese is "quest fresco" or cotija. then mix and enjoy!
don't drain the corn water btw.

Fresas-con-Crema-0164.png

Slice the strawberries into thin slices.
Add the sour cream, evaporated milk, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla to a mixing bowl.
Beat with electric mixers for 2 minutes.
Spoon 1/2 cup of fresh sliced strawberries into a cup. Pour 1/2 cup of the cream mixture over the top.
Serve with whipped cream on top, if desired.
