Jan 11th

I’m thinking of bringing in some new villagers for the new year. Most of them will be staying. For now I invited Broccolo to the campsite for the first time.I want to see villagers I haven’t had before.

Biskit is trying to be more mature.

I don’t think that’s quite right. I don’t think you need to eat food you don’t like in order to be mature.

Tybalt is still in the toy day spirit. I think it might be because I still haven’t taken down the decorations.

He thinks he has mastered telepathy.

Tybalt can’t decide if he wants to be a sports star or a superhero. I don’t see why he can’t be both.

Aurora can’t decide what book to get next.

I always like a good detective book

Wade made a bet with Flo. Hopefully he doesn’t make that bet again.

Wade decided he is going to be a super hero.

Sept 11th : back on Serenity


It’s been awhile since I have been back on Serenity. I did go on for my Birthday last month. It’s now September and the start of fall. I really want to get back to playing both islands maybe every other day. There are still nook miles achievements I would love to try and complete. Now on to Flo’s Birthday.

Flo’s Birthday was actually in the beginning of the month. It was nice to see Tybalt celebrating with her since Flo celebrated his birthday last month with him.

I made her an apple pie and she seemed to like it.

I’m going to be making some villager changes to both islands. Starting with bringing back Buck. Buck and Flo were my starting villagers and I miss him.

The three items he wanted

He is now unpacking. He will be living next to Tybalt in the zen forest.

Next I will be bringing in Cheddar I haven’t seen him in years and haven’t had him in NH. He will temporarily replace Frett.

I know I need to get to weeding and seeing if any flowers got out of control while away from the island. That will have to wait until tomorrow.

Sept 13

So the plan was to let Cheddar move In and temporarily let Frett move out but Frett decided on his own to move out.

So I decided to see who would auto fill instead of moving in Cheddar right away and Chief decided he would move in.

Welcome Chief. We will have to have your welcome party when your all moved in.

Speaking of Welcome parties we had one for Buck with pizza.

Buck is already looking out for his friends by letting me know that Wade was not feeling well.

We had a nice picnic of pasta , salad and bread to welcome Chief to Serenity.

I really want to start working on finishing the last of the nook mile achievements. So went fishing in the evening. Such pretty sunsets.

Sept 21: redecorating villager houses


I decided to decorate some villager houses. I feel bad some of them don’t have beds. So the other day I changed Buck and Chief’s houses. Hope they like them.

Buck now has a bed, a place to make healthy snacks and also a workout room for when it’s bad weather outside.

Chief now has a living room, bedroom and kitchen.

Today I made some changes to Wade and Dobie’s houses.

I didn’t change Dobie’s house too much. Really just wanted him to have space for a bed. It’s weird how many villagers don’t even have a bed.

Fishing tournament is this weekend.

Sept 23rd : Bug off

It’s the last bug off of the year and everyone is excited.

Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Oct 1st:
It’s finally October and that means spooky season is here. Time to start getting ready for Halloween. Start decorating the island and thinking about my costume.
Last nights K.K Slider concert was packed .

I was sure Tybalt was going to join us but he just walked away. I wonder if there is a set number of villagers that can attend the show at once .
I went over and got a coffee with Buck after the show.

Today we have a visitor in the campsite. That villager is Ken . Not long after

leaving Crescent he ends up in Serenity’s campsite. As much as I would have loved to invite him I have no more plots available at the moment.
I realized something as I was walking around the island. I seem to have gotten rid of my only pond and now just noticing it. So I made a pond in front of Wade’s house. Tybalt seemed to approve as he took a nice rest next to it when I was done.

I decided I wanted to have goals for myself again. Some are catching at least 5 bugs and fish. I’m about 200 away from the last nook mile achievement for Angling for perfection. It didn’t take long for the villagers to realize I was back to fishing and bug catching. Buck, Static and Tybalt all asked me to sell them a fish or bug.

Eloise found a new reality show to watch.

Those are some interesting items to start with.
Buck’s new hobby is message.

Oct 12th :

October is already almost half over. It’s seems to be going pretty quickly. I have been feeling unmotivated to update my journal not sure why.

I decided the other day (oct3rd ) I would do some baking since I know I needed two more nook achievements for it. I decided to bake some pumpkin recipes I hadn’t tried yet.

I now have a fridge full of pumpkin sandwiches and desserts and I don’t even like pumpkin. I will just give these to the villagers as gifts . I did bake enough to get one of the nook mile achievements.

Will work on getting the other one at some point .
Buck asked for a dragonfly the other day. He was happy when I found one for him.

I was remodeling my bathroom when Chief came over for a visit.

We had a nice visit and played a game.

Sprinkle seems to really like her Santa hat.

I went over to see Flo and Aurora was there visiting.

I started decorating and the villagers seem to have noticed all the pumpkins .

I tried making some ghost decorations.

I might try and make a few more.
Eloise asked if she could call me cupcake.

Cornimer is back on Harv’s island.

Oct 30th : Wade’s Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated Wade’s Birthday.

Flo was there to help celebrate.

I made cupcakes for Wade.

Flo was excited to celebrate with Wade.

I’m glad he liked his gift .

I wanna be friends forever too.

Usually I just cut the cake into slices.

He seemed to have a great Birthday

It was nice of Flo to decorate.

All the villagers were so happy with their gifts from Santa. Jingle was happy for the help.

I received a toy sleigh from Jingle. Next up is gift exchange with the villagers. I decided to bake all the gifts this year. You will find out how that went tomorrow. As it is now time for bed. Hope everyone had a great day.

Making frosted cookies

I went over to see Buck first and he even gave me some wrapping paper to wrap the cookies in.

He seemed pretty happy with his cookies.

He gave me a puppy plushie in return.
Next we found Aurora .

I got a kids tent from Aurora and she also gave me a festive wreath.

Serena’s welcome back :

Serena spent the last year on Crescent moon island and moved back right before the new year . She brought her friend Olive with her. She was so happy the villagers remembered her.she met a few new villagers who moved in after she left.

Considering you came with me of course I expected to see you.

It was great to see Aurora again. Sorry I made her worry,

I’m kinda surprised so many remembered me after so long.

Dobie lived on Crescent for awhile with me before moving to Serenity. It’s great to see him again.

New Year’s Eve;

Posting a bit late but everyone had a great time on New Year’s Eve .

Everyone gathered in the plaza and partied the night away.

Jan 6th : Holiday Cleanup

Now that it is January and the holidays are officially over it’s time to clean up the island. As I went to leave the house Static stopped by for a visit. He didn’t seem to care that I still had my New Year’s Eve outfit on. Probably because he is still celebrating toy day with his Santa hat.

We played a game and I won.

He seemed happy I still had my Christmas tree out.

I quickly changed after he left and headed out to start the clean up. I grabbed my storage locker to easily place all the Christmas decorations in.
First thing was changing the path from this festive path

Then removing all the decorations. It always looks so empty. I will have figure out what to put back on the beach now that the Christmas decorations are back in storage.
I took a short break to listen to the K.K slider concert with Static.

Next up was picking up all the overgrown weeds and flowers.

Buck is always up for some training maybe he can help me pull the weeds. It’s a pretty good workout.
Flo was having a conversation with Eloise. Eloise had recommended a show to Flo and they were having a chat about it.

You both lost me pretty quickly. Seems like a lot of characters in that show have amnesia.

I definitely can’t blame you for lack of motivation in the cold. After cleaning up the island I have no motivation to clean my house of toy day decorations. That will have to wait for another day.
I did decide to go through my mail. So much mail.

One of my New Years resolutions is to get better at checking my mail. At least once a week so it doesn’t get so full.
Tybalt asked if I could catch a dragonfly for him.

Challenge accepted and completed.

Tybalt gave me a long down coat as a thank you.
With the island decorations now put away and the weeds pulled its time to relax and sleep. I will get to the inside decorations another day. Goodnight

April 23rd :

It’s been awhile since I lasted updated this journal. I have been working on completing the Nook mile achievements. Slowly making progress on them. Now that it’s spring I’m starting to work on decorating my beaches again.

Fishing with Dobie and Wade. I love their friendship. Dobie is always trying to teach Wade something new. I don’t think it turned out exactly how Dobie expected.

For some reason teaching tastes like Bananas to Dobie.

He may want to look into that sooner then later.

May 9th : Bunnie’s Birthday

We celebrated Bunnie’s Birthday on the 9th.

Eloise was there to help celebrate

I made Bunnie some pound cake for her gift.

She seemed to really like her gift

They really do go fast .

We wouldn’t have missed it.

Because cake is amazing.

I think I will stick with cake.

I’m glad you were here for Bunnie’s Birthday.
