Series 2 card and album delay? {UK}

Does anyone know other than game where else might have that sort of item (excluding toys r us since its no where near me :/)

Argos is a great place to get them, but they're not appearing on its website yet. Series 1 is a bit tricky to find on their website since they call them "Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer NFC Cards Wave 1" without using the word amiibo.

Smyths Toys also sells amiibo cards, but series 2 shows out of stock for home delivery on their website, and the website also says the shop closest to me is out of stock.

If you want to order online, then Nintendo UK store and Amazon are good choices, but they haven't appeared on these websites yet.

I can't be bothered with Nintendo, as of today they tried telling me it's not available in the UK yet, and when I mentioned stores selling it already they just said "we have no further information".

Unfortunately I live in Blackpool, so it seems like my stores are so limited here :l I wonder if this is actually an online thing or if it will only be in stores {which I don't know if that's possible but it's how it seems right now}

They're not delayed. The EU and UK twitter accounts tweeted that S2 along with the album is released today. If your local store doesn't have any, it's either a stock issue (which I doubt), or a problem with the store itself, which I'd say is the most likely of the two.

I think it's a stock issue they just don't want to admit (especially Nintendo who is acting like they had no idea about it). I may have the wrong logic on how it works but I just assumed if it was suppose to be released today surely a store should at least know if there's been a delay unless Nintendo hasn't informed them :/

But seeing as I just got my amiibos and people from amazon have to wait I think it's just a hit or miss on whether you'll get it or not. So yeah you're right it's defiantly not been pushed back, just hard to find atm

So I've taken a chance and ordered it from amazon.de since it wasn't a third part seller, but do not advise anyone to pre order it from game. I asked them if they had an update and their response to me was "this item actually had publishing issues and as of now doesn't even exist yet". which is obviously the wrong information :l I hope everyone else has an easier time finding it!

Yeah, from what I've seen around the internet only Smythes have them in stores. My local Game said they thought they would be getting them for today. Argos didn't know the difference between them and Series 1. And I haven't found anywhere online selling them.

Really glad I decided not to pre-order now and to get to Smythes early. Managed to get 12 packs and the album, but then had the absolute worst luck with cards. :<

The cards have shown up on Nintendo Store UK's website and seem to be in stock. I've just placed orders there.

See I don't know if I would trust Nintendo with that album since I asked today and they had no idea when they would have stock, but now I just hope my album arrives fine and isn't missing a page or something :/

The Nintendo website says "add to basket" instead of "preorder" so that should mean that they have stock of them, but it's hard to be sure. I've ordered amiibo from amazon.de before and they've arrived safely, so your album should be ok.

It's kinda like with game though, got my amiibo figures with no problem while amazon has delayed them, yet the album game is clueless about, so at this point It just seems like luck ><

I hope everything with your order goes through okay though! ^-^ who knows the person I spoke to probably just couldn't be bothered to actually check ah

Just so you know, you can order more than 15.
I rapidly clicked thinking it would max out, and then clicked checkout before it loaded assuming it would stop at 15, and it merrily continued with an order of 21. ;D I don't know if there is a limit and I just broke it or not, I didn't want to go back and try it. :p

Oh wow, the Nintendo site has it! Thanks for the heads up; I've ordered 15 packs from there now. I'm probably going to get a few raised eyebrows when I get them in the mail, but it would be worth it xD

I actually ordered 15 of the 1 pack of 3 cards, and 5 of the 3 packs of 3 cards. I'm not going to push my luck any further until they're shipped though.

Yeah, I done this with Series 1 and there wasn't any issue with that order. Though half turned up 2 days before release and the rest turned up 3 days after on the monday which was weird. s:

I want to say a big thank you to The Bell Tree Forums and to the posters on this thread in particular - I had ac Festival & some figurines on pre order with Amazon - ordered immediately they put them up for sale.
Got emails 2 am this morning saying all was delayed - on my a/c it actually said 19th Dec for the figurines and mid week for the game - that has changed now to times within the coming week but this morning I just felt really let down by Amazon.
Thanks to the posters here I was able to make a quick dash to Smyths who had them all, plenty of them apart from the triple pack of KK Slider & the Alpacas. (sold out).
Came back here to find crimsontadpoles with more lovely info - thank you, cos of you I've also ordered a few packs of series 2 cards form Nintendo UK store - got my Christmas & birthday presents (its soon) all in one day, feel guilty and happy all at the same time.

Ugh, I cracked and ordered the series 2 album (comes with 1 pack) and 4 extra series 2 packs... I also ordered 3 more series 1 packs... I paid for next day/Saturday delivery so they should arrive tomorrow and my order confirmation email says the album and cards are all in stock. I will update tomorrow to say if they arrived or not.

Got the series 2 album and cards delivered today directly from Nintendo! (I paid for next day delivery) so it doesn't look like they have any stock problems for their own store.

Game still has no idea, so it seems like most places have it now but game ah

I went into 2 Game UK stores yesterday and they didn't even know Series 2 was out... all they knew about was Amiibo Festival and figures...

I was hoping to buy it yesterday instead of waiting for it to arrive by post next week -_-
