• Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.

Seriously done. Vent thread.

My daughter plays and works night shift. She doesn't TT per se, but she does have her town time set with a 12 hour offset so that she is playing daylight during her "awake" time.

It is a thought.

Even though I sometimes get frustrated at "missing" things, I far prefer the real-time aspect over something like Harvest Moon. In HM, I've always felt the need to rush around and get everything done. If you don't, there are consequences; getting sick, animals getting sick, crops dying... and more. With the real-time aspect, I can usually pop in for a few minutes even if I'm busy; even if it's just long enough to snag an event item from Isabelle, or to check my hybrids.

I will say, with the focus on being mayor and being able to change the appearance of the village, they should have made it possible to choose where villagers move. Even if it was similar to the ordinance option, where you have to pay a fee. Maybe in the next game?

I just like the real-time feature because it makes your town seem more realistic :) since its in conjunction with real life times and seasons.

I got stinky from a street pass and he won't effing leave!
They really need to implement a way to move villagers where you want or go back to having predetermined spots

An improvement for the next game would be some sort of 'moving in' thingy.
Like, at the town hall, there'll be some sort of notice board telling you if anyone's planning on moving in and you can choose where to place their house. I'd like that :3

But some people (including me) like the randomness of house placements. I think a good compromise would be the villager showing you 3 places they're thinking of building their house. Then you could choose the one you like best :)

Or just simply don't choose.
When starting a new town, I let anyone move in pretty much anywhere, so I can build my town around their placements.

See with me, I work and attend college and I am taking 19 units so it is a lot.

Basically my schedule 8am-2pm work, at 3:30pm-6pm I have college.
I live an hour away so right after work I leave and I get home around 7pm.

Then I am so worn out and tired but still do studying/homework through out the whole week and weekend.

I just feel AC should be able to give the players the option to have their in-game time. Like how Harvest Moon has a good in-time game system.

Just my opinion. And I don't feel playing it at normal pace is enjoyable...really I don't. I've done it sometimes since I've been playing at the age of 10. I get bored way to easily.

Anyways I just wanted to vent yesterday, so thanks for your support ^^

I do understand with your limited time schedule, but like I said before, play whenever you can :) Even to bust your stress from studying and revision! I hope you feel better, and best of luck with your studies, and a better future for you! :D
