Server maintenance?

Did anyone else notice server maintenance a little bit ago? I'm thinking there's gonna be a bugfix, hopefully to the kiki and lala wand glitch and the game breaking HHP one

I think it's mostly bug fixes. I remember that there was mention of a patch in the work to fix the HHP bug considering that was a bit of a hot fix needing to be done.

What's this wand glitch? I'm out of the loop, I only know about the game breaking glitch that happens when you decorate your villagers homes when your gates are open.

Kiki and Lala are a part of the Sanrio amiibos. you can order all the furniture for the sanrio amiibos you've scanned from the "promotions" section in the nook phone. One of the items, Kiki and Lala's wand, accidentally got flagged as "not for sale", meaning no new kiki and lala wands are going to be able to be bought and there's gonna be a limited amount of the item being traded like crazy unless they fix this. no one wants to pay 200 NMT for their wand off of Nookazon lol

Ah, I didn't know about that! The only Sanrio characters I know of are Keroppi and Hello Kitty haaha. And I know that there's one called Cinamoroll or something like that. I got the Sanrio posters, trading with someone on this forum, but I don't know the characters.

There’s also a glitch that won’t allow you to fly with certain DIY recipes. They disappear from your inventory once you leave that person’s island. Idk if this got fixed.

Yeah Nintendo released a patch that is supposed to fix some of the game breaking bugs and glitches that happened when the 2.0.0 update came, but I know for a fact there is bound to be new issues, so keep an eye out for anything unusual.

Oh, my bad, I didn't read all of it. To be honest, I don't even know how this hospital works as I haven't unlocked anything like it yet.

Oh okay. That was a bit weird of a feature for them to add, but okay I guess.

If anyone’s curious, I actually ran into the issue I imagine they fixed with calling villagers via Amiibo to facilities last night: the villagers showed up wearing the clothes of the customer they replaced (not uniforms— so Fang was wearing Gayle’s dress, for instance). Unless that’s intentional!

Yeah...If you can't carry a DIY to your ilsnad and need to learn it on the trader's island, then the DIY was hacked in. I would take this as a cautionary when trading rather than seeing it as a bug. If anything, I would think that was done on purpose to deter the practice.

Interesting. I’ve never had this problem, so I assumed it might’ve been bugged. Good to know it’s likely the result of hacking then. Hopefully I can find someone who hasn’t hacked in their recipes.
