My Kappa island today was an island with a heavy meteor shower, a celestial DIY in the bottle on the beach, star fragments on the beach, and two rocks both when hit gave star fragments instead normal mats.

Have you found this island What’s the best Kappa island you’ve found so far?

i'm still searching for the fabled star island! i did get the summer and winter islands tho. really appreciated the summer island, as while my island is almost two years old, i started it during the previous winter and abandoned it for an entire year, lol. was able to get a few fish i didn't have yet.

i've gotten the full gyroid island twice, and i love it. i enjoy the gyroids, heh.

I haven’t found it yet but I’m hoping to time travel to visit more and get a better chance.
So far, I’ve traveled to a lot of them. I’ve only gotten 2 different ones - one was a springtime island, and another was the glowing moss island full of the glowing moss, hanging vines and a glowing moss DIY.

Apparently if you get a bad luck prediction from Katrina and she purifies you, its a guarantee to get a seasonal island (including star island).

This may only work for bad item luck however.

yeah, it works for item luck. i think i saw the same video, heh. i got bad belonging luck today, didn't even have the option to purify... probably cuz i didn't have enough bells when i first talked to her.

I have not found that island yet. The best one I've found is the cherry blossom island.

that was the very fist island that i got. since then though its been rather boring...its the best island ive gotten so far

I've gotten that island once and it was pretty cool. It helped me finally get the Scorpio fragments.

Personally I really like the vine-moss islands and the seasonal islands (especially the seasons opposite than mine.) I find them useful to get materials and that I don't need to bother my northern hemisphere friends to grind for specific ingredients.

I’ve still never been to this island. I feel like I’d stay for an hour just because I love shooting stars. I don’t really need any fragments but wishing on stars is relaxing. Today I found the moss and vines island again. I have gotten that one maybe four times now.

i haven't yet but with my chance it's going to take some time. this & the gyroid island. i wonder if Katrina can predict this!

I've found it once. It was fun! I was disappointed that the DIY bottle contained Star Wand, since everyone gets that from Celeste first. And I was kind of sad that I only managed 7 hits to one of the fragment rocks since it was dispensing zodiac fragments from random months. But it's a great addition to the 2.0 update.

I still haven't come across this island, the glowing moss island or the bells island either. Weirdly enough I came across a YouTube video from a ACNH player who has this theory that the mystery islands you get via Kapp'n is down to how long you've been playing ACNH. So if you've not been playing a full year or recently restarted your island your less likely to get the rarer islands such as the shooting star island or even access to all four seasonal islands until you've played through the season on your own island. So if you reset in summer you'll only have access to the summer island for now but once you play through Fall, Winter and Spring then you'll have a higher chance of getting those islands in the future when you go on a Kapp'n Mystery Island Tour.

I don't know if there's any truth to this theory but it does make more sense for those who are getting the same islands over and over at the moment, myself included.

Interesting, yeah I’m in fall right now. I had been playing everyday and TT back in time to play the days I missed (I was in January 2021) when the update came out, since the update I’ve TT back to today’s date.

I got it the other day. Pretty cool. I got the full gyroid island once but you only get 1 gyroid so that sucks. I’ve also found vine island, cherry blossom island, bamboo island and mushroom island

actually there are seven seasonal islands! the early spring bamboo, spring sakura petals, summer shells, fall mushroom, fall maple, and winter! and the one i keep forgetting, heh.

and yes, this theory seems to be correct.
