Should I get a NES?

I was recently thinking of getting a NES... Would that be a good idea? Some games I'm interested in I know will never come to the VC, like Faxanadu, so it's really the only chance to play them.

What do you guys think?

I don't think so. They aren't even reliable, mine doesn't work anymore...

Yeah, get one from a reliable store though. That way you know it's in good condition.

I'll get one of those FC Twin things if I end up getting one... They're still being manufactured, so they're definitely reliable.

I haven't started paying for insurance, and this is for the future. It's not like I'm going to buy the NES tomorrow. I already had to cancel my order for Heroes Of Mana, anyway...
