I don't know if this should go here or not...

I really want to earn some TBT, so I was thinking of opening an AC shop.
Thing is, I don't know whether I should get rid of everything in my town or not. To be honest, I don't really play anymore, but I worked really hard to get my town looking like it is. (Especially my house! I have loads of rare sets x3)

Also, I can imagine catologing and sorting out all my items would be hard / stressful.

What do you think I should do?

I tried once, and I couldn't deal. Maybe, you can try cycling? It's pretty easy and fun.

Yes, sorting out items are really stressful and it gets boring. I just made a giveaway for my stuff then reset my town.

Umm, well yes and no. I tried this summer with a food-furniture shop, and I ended up getting over a hundred customers in about a month, and it took off really well (but I was too busy to take care of them all). So if you do, I'd suggest starting out small with maybe one specific type of thing, like selling gardening supplies, island items, sets, etc, and once you've gotten that under control, adding other sections to your shop slowly so it expands and gets more customers.

If you're planning on cycling, be prepared to trash your town and tear out all of your hair. It's a pain, and many of the people I know who cycle complain about customers going berserk over accidental voided villagers, so it's a double-edged sword.

Thanks for all this!

Yeah, I couldn't be bothered to do the cycling actually xD
But I'll try what you said with the shop ^.^

Good luck on selling your flowers, if you are selling any. You're gonna need it. I tried setting up a flower shop a month or two ago, but only one person ever came to buy anything.

I don't know how easy it would be to sell anything else, because the only in-game item I've tried to sell is flowers.

I have like, 3 orange roses, and the rest are just crappy ones xD
So I don't think I will be selling them
