Should I search for my dream Villagers or stick with the town I've got?

Hi I'm quote new to animal crossing and I'm wondering if I should fill my town with my dream villagers or stick with the ones I have. I have eight villagers at the moment, Lopez is moving in tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do? Should I stick with the town I've been given or trade, reset and TT for my dreamies, will it be worth it?

Well, that shouldn't be a concern to you if you're just starting out the game

Just play the game how it's meant to be, maybe you'll come to like some of those villagers

The rest of us have just been kinda getting bored and have just now recently started trading for dream villagers. Partly because we're sick of some of the ones that we've been given, but we've also bonded with others that we probably never thought we would like

People have been trading villagers recently, but it's probably just because people were starting to lose interest in the game and wanted to liven it back up

I just think you should go with the ones you've got - don't start the mad search for villagers. Talk to your neighbours, grow to like them, see who else turns up that's the fun of it.

PallieHallie's pretty much summed it up perfectly. Especially if you're new to the series. A lot of dream villagers are created through nostalgia.

Thanks everyone I think I will stick to the village I have but maybe search 1 or 2 out for nostalgic reasons. (Walker and Hugh :3)
When I said that I was new to AC I meant that I was new to the AC forums but I obviously have an inability to type as I missed the word forums out completely, and that changed the meaning of the post :/ I've been playing the series since Wild World and Walker Hugh Wolfgang and Rosie were all in my first town Thanks for the advice everyone it's much appreciated !
