Based on your first blog post and the following ones, it's clear that you'd appreciate some advice from me.

I'd like to mention that Fire Emblem: Awakening, while rife with gamebreaking potential, still demands you to be pretty specific on how you should direct your troops to the victory with minimal causalities. Here, simply Zerg rushing them to enemy units and overusing your best unit just won't always cut the mustard regardless of the difficulty you're currently playing. You have to actually know how capable are your units, such as their strengths and weaknesses, learn the map's layout and the enemies populating there along with enemy reinforcements. Once you have engulfed with all of the information you really need to know, direct your troops in the most optimal way possible, so you can be more efficient than whatever you previously did. Keep that in mind if you want to get better at the game.

Another tip I can give you in terms of positioning your units is that you sometimes don't really need to start a fight right away to defeat your opponent's unit without receiving too much damage within a short succession of time. Generally, if your unit can't warrant a KO the foe without it attacking you during your turn, it's best that you wait for the enemy's turn to come and let them attempt hitting your unit first, so yours can attack during the enemy's turn. When your turn comes, you attack the same foe with its HP reduced and can possibly KO before the enemy has another chance to fight back.
Therefore, you could end up sparing more HP that way, as the enemy would have only one less opportunity to land a hit on you. This should become a habit of yours, as it will greatly help you on decimating units.

Have you noticed that the enemy units would either move to the closest unit of yours or just be idle minding their own businesses until you come in close enough? That's right, you can actually exploit these enemies to your advantage, so you can get a much better control on any chapter you play.

It's also a much better idea to avoid spreading EXP too thin to every unit in your team and favors giving EXP to your best units. You'd want your favorites to become even stronger faster rather than ending up with tonnes of mediocre units later in the game.

Welp, there goes another 2 future units (Anna and another one that recruits with Mirel)
