first time making my own signature
(also if anyone could help me make my icon a perfect circle I'd appreciate it :") I've tried resizing a bunch of times but for some reason the edges still get cut off)

Make sure to use the image link and not the post link - the right link looks like this:

https://i.imgur.com/7IG5M9B.jpg

If you put that one in your signature it should work, but beware that the image is too tall for forum rules, so you will want to decrease the height. You can do that without re-uploading the image:

[img height=200px]https://i.imgur.com/7IG5M9B.jpg[/img]

An putting this in a post also shows only the image as below, without the imgur frame. This is how you know you've got it right! Hope that helps.
