I'm apparently really strong at interviews, something I would NEVER believe if you told me four years ago. I'm really reserved and introverted, but unfortunately we live in a society where a certain personality type gets the desired jobs, so I've had to learn to fake that confident personality. I did a few interviews in quick succession and completely derped my way through, but I got used to the types of questions they ask. Now students in my field come to me for interview advice and I think it's so funny because I don't see myself that way at all.
note-taking. when i got to uni i had to learn how to properly take notes because i never bothered to take any in school before (and i took classes online for 3 years of high school, meaning i either typed or googled everything) and it was like. awful. i used to write really slowly and would write Every Single Word on the powerpoint and barely absorb the lecture because i was too focused on note-taking, and over the course of my undergrad study i got way better both at writing quickly and learning how to jot down the most important info first and foremost. my study skills never improved but my note-taking skills are excellent at this point if i do say so myself
