You can draw well with normal paper and pencils too! Getting art paper and special art pencils isn't going to make you a spectacular artist XD

Yeah, I had proper pencils and paper but I lost them somewhere .
I'm talking back of scrap paper and pound land pens. XD

Well obviously it won't make you a better artist instantly.. but the texture of the paper can make a HUGE difference though.. this also goes for pencils. I like to work with softer pencils.. those cheap ones are horrible to use in my opinion. also I can draw a lot better on the right paper. (though I can doodle and sketch on everything )

Lol, I like using WHSmith stuff the most, I try normal paper but my old art teacher had really expensive paper I used .
I know how to draw better with pencils and paper, just using my finger isn't my best thing.

For a beginner, your art is pretty good. Again, I'd recommend working on shading. I haven't seen any shading in any of your art so far.

When you're colouring, make sure to keep your pencil strokes in one direction! ^-^ Also perhaps use lighter strokes so the colouring doesn't look so scratchy (can see each individual line)

That was because I didn't have a pencil sharpener back then! My pencil was flat and like that.

Well, that's good But if you want critique, just remember the direction of your strokes! I'm sure that isn't affected by the sharpness of your pencils XD Like for example, the sky in the last drawing was colored in by horizontal strokes, then vertical... try to keep it all horizontal and it'll look a lot neater! ^-^
