I'm keeping my eye out for a smug villager, as I need one for some PWPs. What are your favorite villagers within the personality?

Colton,Hans and Graham are my top three smugs.All the smugs are a bit odd and goofy but these guys are extra odd and goofy.All of them have been in my towns for at least three years.

I used to have Graham in one of my previous towns. He was super cute, though I actually mistook him as a lazy for the longest time!

I really like Julian. I did almost buy him, too. My town became full during the waiting period of the order, but I'm still thinking about reordering him.
I always get iffy about buying popular villagers that got a lot of hype, though. It's just a pet-peeve of mine. It took me the longest time to let myself have Marshal and Beau in a previous towns. Should I go for it anyway?

My favorites that I've had in my towns are Lopez and Hans. I also like Zell and Ken, but I haven't experienced them yet. However, if you really like Julian, I say go for him. It shouldn't matter whether he's popular or not.

Yeah Ken is one of my favourite smugs. I?m generally not a fan of smug designs but Ken looks very simple and sophisticated looking. Marshal is good in that sense too, as some people might not like how flashy the smugs look (then again I guess that?s also their charm!) Sometimes I mistake Ken for a Cranky because of his design and house. I also really love O?Hare because of his little hat.

Marshal and Julian were two of my favorite smug villagers, I never did get the chance to move them into my town, Colten isn't a bad choice, either.
Wolf Link isn't bad, but I think you need his amiibo to move him in. Shep has an interesting design, but it would've been better suited for the lazy personality, in my opinion. Phil reminds me of Falco, so the smug personality is perfect in his case. It all boils down to personal choice in the end.

i think half the charm for me with ken is he reminds me of cranky's and they are my favourite personality group.
My favorites are W. Link, Curlos, Kyle, Hans & Phil. I currently have W. Link in my main town while Curlos & Kyle are in my 2nd town. I used to have Phil, Hans & Shep. I thought Shep was a lazy villager at first. lol!

I would recommend Pietro, Lopez and Hippeux. I had them all in my past towns and they became over the time my favorites. Pietro is just an adorable guy, although some find him a bit creepy because of his clown appearance and so, but still lovely. His house however is in my opinion kinda a mess, but not a big problem. Lopez has a elegant design and overall he's very likable. And Hippeux is maybe not a huge favorite to everyone, mostly because the hippo villagers seems to be not so beloved in general and his look may not appeal to most people, but he's still a nice guy and I would give him a chance.
