Snow finally melted! Yay!

I have nothing against the snow in this game, don't me wrong but it stays for far too long in my opinion. Also it makes the island look dead so I was so happy when I logged on and saw the snow was finally gone.

It definitely stays for way too long, I agree with you. Once Christmas is over I'm ready for the snow to melt both irl and in-game, so the fact that it sticks around two full months after the holidays is pretty annoying. I can't wait to re-experience my island without snow, I think it looks so much better that way!

The constant white gives me such a migraine when I see it for too long. Really limited how long I could play during the winter, and I hated it.

I don't mind winter, but man... ACNH doesn't do it very well.

I love the snow during the time when it makes sense like Christmas time and whatnot but when you are decorating and landscaping, it makes the island look dead and unlively. And again, just lingers far too long. I don't live where it snows in real life so I don't know how long snow hangs around in real time, but for me, 3 months is entirely too long, especially on a supposedly tropical island.

Also, once you get all the Snow DIYs, it's pointless and like 'enough already'. I'm just glad to be back in the green seasons.

You know, that's actually a good point. The islands in GC and NL were Summer all-year round. New Horizons didn't necessary had to go that route, but it makes absolutely no sense to have it go on as long as the previous games did, other than having more than enough time to complete the Sno— I mean, "Frozen" series and tradition (which frankly, doesn't make sense, because the game's panned enough already for breaking away from it).

I don't mind ACNH having snow, but it shouldn't stay as long as it does. I think it should melt away sometime in January.

I really don't get why they made the Snow last so long in this game. Like I get it Winter doesn't end until March in real life, but still they should've had the snow melted in Mid February instead of close to the end of the month. The only thing I have to worry about is if it snows on my Southern Hemisphere island. if that happens then I will have to restart and create a 2nd Northern Hemisphere island. I'm sorry its just that I hate Winter and Snow in general.

It feels a lot worst in this game for some reason. I found the snow more tolerable in the other games. I don't know why.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm sad the snow's gone and I miss it already. I always enjoy seeing the snow in NH and always enjoy how my island looks with snow on the ground. It doesn't feel the same with it gone.

It always felt weird seeing the snow suddenly gone. My eyes have gotten used to all that white. But I'm glad it's gone regardless. Can't wait to get all the vibrant colors back.

Tbh I hate the dead yellowish grass more than the constant snow. I also don't really like the summer grass that much but I'm probably the minority lol

i actually really love how the snow looks in-game (and irl, so long as i don’t have to leave my house lol), but i definitely prefer how my island looks and the vibrancy of the grass in spring. :’)

Same here! I do like the winter and snow but it stays a bit too long imo.
