Today I just remembered that on February 25, the snow in your town will melt and be replaced with grass. Since I only just remembered this today, it stands to reason that other people may have forgotten about it as well. So if you don't time travel, consider this your reminder to take care of any winter tasks before it's too late.

Personally I'm looking forward to there being no more snow. Since where I live it's still winter, so it's nice to be able to play Animal Crossing and see my town covered in lush grass. I wish it grew that quick in real life. Springtime where I live is basically everything looking dead for a month since nothing has grown yet.

Yay! I'm excited for the snow to melt in my towns. It's still winter where I live but it's been a really up and down year temperature-wise and we didn't have any snow that stuck. I just want to see everything looking pretty and green again. That'll mean more bugs and fish to catch soon too. :)

Thanks for the reminder. It's still winter here so didn't even think about it changing so soon in game. I want to finish my bingo card and I love the crunching sound that walking in the snow makes :)

I'm so, so excited!!! I'm tired of the dull snow- I've had enough of it. I can't wait to see my town full spring mode. Since I started this town over winter, I've never been able to see it with lush greens.

I love this little stuff to look forward to.

yay! snow in ac is pretty and is a lot better than snow irl (at least, imo) so i can’t wait for the beautiful spring grass for new horizons :3

I wish it wasn't three solids months of it.

I'm praying NH has a permanent summer island like before so I can escape the snow in winter, rather than let it fall to ruin.

As this is my first ever mainline AC game, AND as I started it in January, this is going to be jarring. I suppose having gone through a month and a half of snow will make my first experience playing a mainline AC in a spring setting even more beautiful, though!
