I am looking for a great customized printed tshirt to sport my love for Animal Crossing. I came across Purplepixel's account on Tumblr. The artist is great, he has drawn every villager I know of on his Tumblr and he made his designs available for print on Redbubble. So I decided to order one slim fit tshirt with Pate as my favorite Animal Crossing character (obviously). All in all, with the taxes and shipping it nearly cost me $40 (CAD).

Here are the results

I have to say, I'm not impressed with the print quality at all. I was hoping for something a bit more sturdy, more precise even if it costed me more than it has. Anyways... I'm not here to rant.

Do you have suggestions as to where I should order a customized tshirt like that, somewhere with better print quality? Do you have experience getting an Animal Crossing shirt printed?

I don?t have any experience with ordering AC shirts, but I DO have experience with Redbubble; a similar bad experience:

The Hannibal shirt I ordered for my friend was such a low quality that the dark blue fabric showed through on Hannibal?s skintone?making him look like he shared Violet?s fate at the chocolate factory lol

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into a local store tomorrow and compare the print quality.

I wrote them asking if they had a better printing option than what I got - sending in the picture. They replied me with : we'll refund you in full.

So I guess it's not too bad.

I'm glad you managed to get a refund sorted! It's always disappointing when you have a bad experience when ordering online.

I’m sorry your shirt came out as a disappointment! I’m glad you’re able to get a refund at the very least though. ^^

Thank goodness you could get a refund!
I've seen so many stories about people being unable to get refunds after receiving poor quality merchandise, sometimes the seller doesn't even make anything of their own and use other people's usually copyrighted content instead of y'know, actually making their own stuff.

I see from your photos that the quality is not the best one. Still, I’m interested in your experience. Maybe they just seem low quality, but in reality everything is different. I usually don't order anything online. I’m afraid that the seller won’t meet my high expectations, and I will be disappointed about the money I wasted. I tried to order from different stores, and I always have the same experience. I know only one store which I can trust, and they always deliver everything shortly, besides prices are more or less okay. The most important thing that I don’t regret paying that price for the clothes they make.
