i think its for people who dont have anything else to use?? ive never used it (unless i left all my other stuff in an unreachable place at the time) but some people would
youtube on 3ds is bad. i mean why go through the trouble when you can watch it on your laptop or phone? it just seems very unrealistic to be like "hey lol look at this funny video on youtube i found" and whip out your 3ds xl and go through 10 minutes of plain clicking and waiting bc it loads so slow, and when you finally show your friend it comes out with terrible quality, terrible audio, or doesn't play at all. i mean, sure it works, but i wouldn't want to use it.
i agree with pretty much everyone else. the youtube app on the 3ds sucks but it serves it's purpose. super buggy, super crashy and the audio is... yeah. i wouldn't be surprised if it was crashing.
I personally never had problems with youtube on the 3ds, but maybe that's because I use a new 3ds so... When I had the old 3ds though, the quality of the video was a problem. And as for the Wii U, the app is pretty badish. Everything about it is pretty good for me, the only problem is that I freezes much to often thus making me have to force shut the system down.
The only YouTube app on consoles I was truly happy with is the YouTube app on PS3. To me, they never could do a great app for Nintendo consoles. Wii U's internet browser as well as the New Nintendo 3DS's browser proves that YouTube runs great on the consoles. The 3DS may run bad, but don't get me started on how the original Wii's app was...
Well it works fine for me. It is not as bad as everyone says. I really keep it on my 3ds for emergency. You never know when you need to depend on the 3ds rather than something else.
